I was in a wheelchair, I hadn't fully recovered from the anesthesia and apparently he had someone else waiting to have surgery 2 be performed on. I was dressed and stuffed in the closet in a wheelchair until the anesthesia wore off. I was strapped in a wheelchair there in a closet when I started to wake up and realize what had happened . U NYU that was horrific and it shows you what kind of compassion and sympath has. there was no other room to Place me. He didn't want to keep anyone else wait waiting.

He is not skillful of doing filler. He did in a rush with no careful pre design of anatomy of the patient face. The injection caused two sides of my face cheek asymmetric. One side had more. I would never recommend anyone to go to him for fillers. Because the first thing out of his mouth is he can't do tear trough. I see no improvement of my face other than added swollen asymmetry of one side after his rush filler.

About 8 years ago I trusted a very well know dermatologist in NYC to perform a laser procedure on me which resulted in my face being burned and the layer of fat in my cheeks lower eyelids being dissolved. This laser treatment also caused my lower eyelids to be very badly retracted and pulled down. In all honesty I would say this was the most emotionally painful experience I have have faced in my life. I went through about 5 unsuccessful surgeries with other doctors which are well known surgeons that fix botched surgeries. After spending thousands of dollars and suffering years of severe depression I gave surgery one last chance in which I chose Dr. Schwarcz to try and help me. I have to say that I am amazed and feel very fortunate that I chose him. The surgery Dr. Schwarcz performed on me gave me about a 90% improvement which is pretty amazing considering the extensive damage I suffered from the laser damage. Not only is Dr. Schwarcz a great surgeon but he is a very kind and ethical person who was patient and understanding of my concerns and answered all of my questions truthfully. I still consider Dr. Schwarcz as one of my friends and trust him unconditionally. Thank you again Dr. Schwarcz for helping me and being a truly good person!

I met him once for filler. It left a dark bruise that
no make-up could cover and stayed for a week. Although he wouldn't be my choice for anything more aggressive, I realize that some things are beyond a doctor's control. A needless crack about aging is another matter, which, considering his line of work, speaks to his judgement and intelligence. That he doesn't mention the medical school he attended on his website is revealing as well.

Hello - I have never written an online review for a doctor before. I feel it is necessary to write one now to express grateful I am to have found Dr. Schwarcz. To begin with, he is very personable and took so much time explaining my issue (under eye swelling and lines) and how it could be addressed. Ultimately, he gave me filler which has proven to give good results. Most importantly, he inspired confidence. I will return to him without hesitation.

Dr. Schwarcz carefully listened to what I was hoping to achieve with facial fillers, then did his magic on my face which took years off of my appearance. I'm VERY happy with the results! I also greatly appreciated Dr. Schwarcz's careful and methodical style, and his sensitivity to my comfort throughout the injection process. I'm especially impressed with the filler he did around my eyes and forehead which are difficult areas to achieve natural and smooth results. I've been getting injectable facial fillers for many years and from a variety of doctors over the years, and Dr. Schwarcz is definitely among the best.

I met with Dr. Schwarcz after experiencing issues following a dermal filler injection by another doctor. While the other doctor did not address my concerns, Dr. Schwarcz did a thorough exam of the problem area, assessed my symptoms, and made a clear diagnosis. I found him to be very professional and friendly. For any other dermal fillers, I would go to Dr. Schwarcz.

I had a terrible experience here. He told me that the procedure was non-invasive but I left his office with major bruises on my skin. When I complained, he said it was absolutely normal. I knew right away that I had made a terrible mistake since it was not my first experience with fillers and I had never reacted that way before. It took more than a week for the bruises to heal, even though he assured me that I would be fine in 48 hours. Even after I recovered from the bruises, the skin under my eyes appeared hollow and saggy. I called again and asked for another visit, and his assistant brushed me off. There are many good doctors in New York City's Upper East Side and he is not one of them -- I strongly recommend that you avoid him and do your research.

I've had eye surgery and filler treatments with Dr. Schwarcz and have found him repeatedly nice but not such satisfying results. In hindsight after I went for another consultation elsewhere, I realized how hasty and carefree his approach is. He doesn't have the experience that I found elsewhere, nor does he take careful protocol with medical photos or the eye and patience for doing good filler treatments. In NYC especially, a lot of these doctors just want to make $$, but don't put the quality into their work. He was a prime example of that.
