I feel the need to leave a notice stating she now runs a private dermatology clinic with the minimum single visit cost starting at $300 which is not covered by BC medical services. With the already short supply of family doctors in Victoria, it makes me sick to think she has choses profit for her self over helping the dire people needing a family doctor. With this she has deleted her original google business account with all original reviews.

My personal experience with her was terrible. She would not listen to any of my concerns of my body and would routinely try to get me to take anti depressants as a first step. I was able to get a second hand opinion through the walk in clinic system where it was a diagnosis of which I suspected and she dismissed.

Have had Dr. Ng as my family doctor for the last 12 years and am so grateful. She is caring, knowledgable, friendly, and always makes me feel heard. Unbelievable some of the comments on here, I would take them with a grain of salt; untrue. As for Dr. Ng’s MOA Desire; top notch and 5 Stars. Desire is efficient, caring, and reliable. 10/10 for Dr. Ng and her staff!

I have been with Dr. Ng for 5 years and she’s been nothing but professional and kind. She is the most caring doctor I have seen in Victoria and will always listen to my concerns.

She dropped me too. But honestly, to whoever is reading this, even after the shockingly awful experiences with her as our family doctor, I’m realizing that she has been on quite a self destructive trajectory. I don’t know what is going on in her life, but I pray for her full recovery, healing and transformation. Life is just too short.

If you are with this doctor there is a chance you will get dropped as a patient. It's not "ungrateful" to point that out- it's just factual and is what it is (according to many of the reviews here). I was dropped after being a patient since I was a child. Of course this sucks. Dr Ng. wasn't a bad doctor to me, she was okay to call in outside help when she wasn't sure about a particular diagnoses (which I respect), but did have some issues where I felt she wasn't listening to me completely, which is fine but not great. She's wasn't a bad doctor (to me), but after being with another doctor there was stuff I felt was missing in comparison. Everyone is here to rate their doctor with their own experience, it's cruel to dismiss others' experiences (in my opinion). My personal experience with this doctor wasn't terrible. The staff were also always nice to me and would make sure I was seen (even if not with Dr. Ng) if something was more urgently wrong. I really liked the other doctor at this practice and the intern(?) that last saw me before they dropped me.
