Lied on after visit notes summary saying he examined me but didn't even come near me when he came in the room. So basically lied on medical records. Quite amazing that this has happened. Did not even perform a typical neurological exam yet he somehow was able to magically tell that everything was fine regardless of the many neurological symptoms going on. Would NOT recommend at all. My advice, take written reviews seriously because if I had I would not have wasted my time.

This surgeon passes the buck and doesn't actually take the time to pay attention to what wrong. He told my husband he was fine and didn't need surgery even though he was in severe pain from an injury. A second opinion to a different surgeon showed that my husband needs surgery ASAP and what is wrong with him u can see as plain as day on MRI and the second surgeon can't believe that schirmer passed my husband along becuz the longer my husband has waited the worse he's gotten so if schirmer actually paid attention and did his job then he would of saw what this second surgeon saw. I think schirmer is an awful neurosurgeon and shouldn't pass his patients right along. I do not recommend him at all to anyone.
