I've been a patient of Dr Bart for over 10 yrs. since my retirement in 2004. As I was generally in good health, I did not have a family dr, until my retirement in 2004. At that time, It was necessary to find a dr, and it was my good luck that Dr. JB accepted me as a patient. Since then and up until his retirement, he has treated me in a dedicated , professional and compassionate manner, but his favorite trait is the confidence he instills in me whenever it was necessary to visit him. Dr Bart saved my life in 1999. I would have been DEAD within hours without Dr. John Bart. Diagnosed a heart issue (aortic dissection) and sent me across the street to his cardiologist colleague Dr. David Freedman. I have gone on to live a full and productive life since that day - finishing my studies; working good jobs; and operating a couple service and food businesses. - Rob

I'm well over 50 and been seeing dr b since i was 16.
He has seen me through many physical and emotional challenges in my life. If it wasn't for him I wouldn't be here to write this.
No dr that i know of would give you their personal cell phone # and tell you to call anytime when you are going through another physical crisis again.
He has always been my rock.
Don't know what I'll do when he retires permanently. Maybe I'll become a stalker.
Doesn't really matter because I've told him that he's not allowed to retired ever.
That's about it.
I'll always love Dr.B for everything he's given me

JB has been my doctor for 37 years. he has only become more patient as years go on. Always willing to listen, even if you have to wait for him a while. I don't know who will replace this very gentle, caring man after he retires. I trust him with my life. Through thick and thin, he has been there for me.

I moved to Toronto when I was 17 and was referred to Dr. Bart by a family friend. Over thirty-two years later, he is still my family doctor and has seen me through the development of a number of auto-immune conditions and health crises related to them. He is the most compassionate, concerned and caring doctor I've ever known, and has always done an excellent job of coordinating what is, of necessity, a team of specialists, and helped me to find specialists who can manage my complicated health situation. He listens, never rushes or interrupts, provides insightful and useful information and access to invaluable resources, as well as responding to my general health concerns and needs. I, like many of his patients, fear the day he retires.

He is absolutely the BEST doctor. He's caring, understanding, and knowledgeable. He took me on when I desperately needed a doctor, and then accepted my whole family when he was already full. And even though I only see him very rarely, he always remembers and asks about my family. He never interrupts or patronizes you and always seeks more holistic approaches first. I trust him 100%. He operates with such efficiency in such a small space, and is so organized. HE EVEN HAS HIS OWN WEBSITE! He's one of those individuals that are just EXCELLENT and amazing at what they do, and it shows.I will be extremely sad the day he officially retires and hope that never happens. I've only met a handful of people like Dr. Bart but I am so glad and feel privileged to be his patient. His secretary is also awesome - she's very efficient but also very nice and professional. He operates an amazing office. I drive an hr and a half just to see him and it's always worth it :) I appreciate you so much Dr. Bart!
