He was terrible. Said that I would live 5 years after radiation treatment of the tumor in my brain stem that is from stage IV lung cancer that had metastasized to my brain stem and spine. Other oncologists, neurologists, neurosurgeons, palliative care physicians, MAiD physician, etc had predicted 4 months. When I left a message to clarify what me meant, he did not call me back.
His ego was more important that helping me through this journey, He added even more stress during a very hard time.

Very easy to talk to and gentle understanding for my thoughts. Was totally interested in what I had to say and answered my questions clearly. Even checked on possible problems created by my hip replacements and phoned back quickly, and seemed to be excited about the fact that they would not cause difficulties for the treatment I chose. He talked plainly and I finished the call actually excited about the upcoming treatments. So far five stars for my initial appointment.

He is not my primary oncologist, but he performed two procedure for my brachy therapy.
He was terrible that he did not follow the instruction in the procedure even I requested. He hide his error until my primary oncologist revealed the truth to me. He gaslighted me to make me believe that I was the reason that a procedure needed to be added, in fact it was due to his error. He never apologized. He came to pursue me to have the added procedure at my weakest time before radiation without compassion.
If he pursue you to have extra treatment, please make sure to consult other oncologist. he is not trustworthy.

Absolutely horrible experience with this guy. Was rude, condescending , and became very angry and stormed out of the room when I did not succumb to his demands. Very controlling, arrogant and I have nothing good to say about this guy. I ended up reporting him to the College for his insolence and impropriety. At no time did he treat me with respect and dignity. I was so dissatisfied with this over aggressive pathological control freak that I asked to be assigned to another radiation oncologist. Just a terrible experience!
