She has great knowledge and experience and I appreciate her thoughtfulness as an Ob provider. She is very calming and comforting.

I had an awful experience with Dr. Rana just this past weekend. My fiance and I went in to see her, because I suspected I might be pregnant, I have been having abdominal tightening comparable to that of Braxton Hicks contractions. They only started recently, and I decided to see an OBGYN about them. Her staff seemed more or less gone, and only one lady was working, it appears as if her daughter was there too, which I thought was odd, and not the most appropriate place for a child. The office lay out was comfortable and relaxing, the only downside is that there was a serious lack of professionalism. No signs for the bathroom location, no signs on how to get to the exit door to the main lobby, and poor communication skills from the staff. The wait time also took a while. It seemed she was a bit more interested with chatting and social events, as I could hear her and a staff member outside the room chatting for nearly 30 minutes prior to being seen. By the time she came in, things were done sporadically and poorly communicated, even I was surprised. She did little to nothing to determine what was going on, and even insisted I was bleeding when I was not. She then started saying I had a "Phantom Pregnancy" and that I was dreaming up a pregnancy, out of a supposed desire to be pregnant. The funny thing is, I have no desire to be pregnant, which I informed her of. She immediately felt embarrassed and said she wanted to give me some form of medication to start a period. When I told her I would like to have an ultrasound scheduled, she changed the date 3 or 4 times in less than a matter of minutes. My Fiance and I left, both frustrated and without any answers. I later received an email informing me about the practice's patient portal. I checked my medical record only to discover that she had listed a "problem" as the reason for my visit. Needless to say, I will not be returning and I suggest if anyone needs to see an OBGYN, it should be elsewhere.

Clueless, rude, more concerned with your personal life, than your health. Ridiculous wait time & out of pocket expenses. The patients are suffering the consequences, of her staff members hating her. This is my first review, ever, but I felt the need to warn.

Said that there was a abnormality with the quad screen, most likely because of the due date not being updated in her system, told us to wait a week and she would get back to us, went up there today and she is like there still is a abnormally on screen test, asked if I had a ultrasound and my due date!!!!???? Which yes I had one all ready and dr. Rana herself told me it was dec 27th, but she forgot all of this???? So she then apologized for making me wait a week to hear back from her and I've been worried sick because I want to know what's going on with my baby and she said it should be updated in the computer by tmrw and to check back to see if it is fixed or not....pretty much I think she is a not a good doctor and I wish I never came to her, how do u forget that u gave me a ultrasound and a new due date but COMPLETELY forget????? I don't understand, and worst of all I have to wait another day to see if she punches in the correct info into the computer to see if that is why it is giving a abnormal test result

I've been seeing Dr. Rana since the beginning of my pregnancy, and I'm currently just over 6 months. She's been very attentive, informative, and my husband and I adore her. We always leave feeling heard and all of our questions answered. Yes, there have been a couple times where the wait was almost 2 hours. But, the usual wait is about 30 mins to 1 hour. Keeping in mind that she is the only Dr. in her practice and she gets called away to the hospital for patients, we don't really mind. Especially, since we are so happy with the quality of care she offers. Also, we Love her staff. :)

Went to this doctor based on some reviews but we had a very bad experience. Her staff is the worst we have seen. They are so careless that they got the reports mixed up during my wife's pregnancy. The doctor without even validating the information shared the results with my wife. She started with the question of terminating the pregnancy saying that baby has down syndrome. I assume people will validate the results before making such a comment. Later we found that the nurse had mixed the test samples. Thats the reason, I gave worst rating for staff. The doctor has knowledge but she doesn't know how to speak. She never talks positive. Talks about NICU facility at GHS atleast once in the visit :(. We will never visit this clinic.

I have been to Dr.Rana's two times. For a yearly physical and then a follow up appointment. Her staff and her were very kind. I felt comfortable and she was very gentle. I felt like I could be honest and tell her everything without worrying about being judged. It is time for my yearly papsmear and I am going back to her. If your looking for a doctor that will make you feel comfortable and welcome then Dr.Rana is perfect for you. My only complaint is that I had a little trouble understanding her. She has an accent. She is very smart and ran test tthat other doctors don't take the time to do.

I absolutely love Dr.Rana.Not only was Dr.R attentive to all my needs, she would constantly do things & run different tests more than once to make sure that I was ok&my baby was too. I was told before labor that bc of the size of my baby I may need a csection,I went into labor on 5/28 and was induced, I didn't have my baby until 5/31 after 57 hours in labor. Dr R came every day, checked on me, called to talk to me, sent her staff to check on me, I was determined to have a vaginal birth so she let me, since my baby was not in danger per my request she allowed me to keep trying. I know for a fact that is not something most drs do, they will cut you open for their convenience. To this day when I see her she remembers me, & if I have my baby she practically cries. Yes she's a straight forward dr, why would you want a dr to sugar coat things for you?I will see her yearly for my exams & every time we have a baby. She is the most caring dr I have ever seen.

please future patients, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE, I went to her for 9 whole months during my first pregnancy, every month I would go to my appointment and she seriously acted like it was the first time she met me, never remembered my name, I felt like I was imposing on her and that she had way more important things to do. The day I go into labor it was obvious my child's head was not going to fit through the birth canal, but still had to lay there until my sons heart rate went down to a very dangerous level, she came in and just said would u like a c section or keep trying for a vaginal birth, NO LADY! MY CHILD IS IN DISTRESS, GET HIM OUT NOW! I do not think she is passionate or even like the medical field, and I'm totally with the other reviewer, I think she's on something, pregnant ladies, please find a more caring doctor.
