Dr. Gudeman is an excellent Doctor. I have been well from the time he started treating me to this day. He's understanding, knowledgeable and really cares about his patients and wants them to be well. He's more concerned about people than money. There's an occasional wait to see him because he doesn't turn away those who are having a hard time finding a Doctor due to financial issues. A Doctor like Gudeman could be practicing in Beverly Hills, he's a gem.

Dr. Gudeman has treated 4 family members in the last 6 years. Myself and husband are still treated by him. He alerted us to our minor son's drug addiction when he was 13 and treated for suicidal ideation. Our son is now many years clean and drug free. Dr. Gudeman's treated our friends son who lived with us for 1 1/2 years. He was able to control the paranoia from this young man's years of drug abuse and then successfully wean him off all medication, leaving him drug free and able to graduate from school. Dr. Gudeman provided free medication for 5 months until insurance was available ,thanks to his pharmaceutical representatives. Dr. Gudeman successfully diagnosed and has been treating my husband for rage caused by a head injury 20 years ago. All these people are currently working and very functional in society. Trial and error does happen with treatment. Thank god Dr. Gudeman was open to that when treating my family. I would highly recomend Dr. Gudeman to anyone.

I saw Dr. Gudeman for several years since my previous doctor retired and Dr. Gudeman was the only other psychiatrist on my plan in Simi Valley. He was always very overbooked and I would wait 20 min-2 hours frequently. He spent more of the sessions talking about his life and troubles than mine. I also started receiving bills for my co-pay, when I was required to pay before I could see him. His staff was rude and unprofessional, talking about other patients by name, loudly, when the waiting room was full. I ended up with a bill for sessions I didn't have with him and finally had to file a complaint against him to get the collection agency to leave me alone.

I am grateful for the excellent medical care I've received from Dr. Gudeman. I've been a patient for 7 yrs, in that time he has treated all of my health problems with success. I have severe pain from psoriatic arthritis that my rheumatologist has been unable to treat. Dr. Gudeman effectively manages the pain. I have a seizure disorder that he, not my neurologist, found the effective medication for. He treats the accompanying depression & anxiety I have & does this while not aggravating the inflammatory bowel disease I've suffered at the hands of other doctors who were dispensing NSAIDs, not the pain medication which also keeps my IBD in control. This gives me quality of life that no other doctor has provided. He makes sure that all the proper testing is done & receives all records from my other doctors to best manage my health. If Dr. Gudeman will not be allowed to continue his practice, I will suffer devastating medical consequences & the loss of an experienced & caring physician.

Dr. Gudeman is wonderful!!! Very lucky to have found such a wonderful, caring Dr. who actually takes the time to LISTEN to his patients! Not a pill pusher, really takes his time to help you. Highly recommend!!

Dr. Gudeman has been seeing me since 2004 he has saved my life by treating me and finding me housing after being homeless for many years. He has been kind and professional and caring I cannot say that I have ever met a doctor that cares about his patience as much as Dr. Gudeman cares. I will continue to see him as long as he continues his career. He has saved my life and the lives of many other patience that I'm familiar with that see him on a regular basis. He is the only psychiatrist in Simi Valley who takes people with little to no money he also will take Medicare and medi-cal.

Dr Gudeman is a very honest, knowledgeable, caring physician. I came to him with an anxiety and depression during a critical time in my life. He listened and treated me in a professional manner. He advised me and got me stabilized and back on track. I continue to see him for treatment and professional counseling . With him there for me I feel I will be able to remain without symptoms and I am doing very well and have returned to working again. Thank you doctor for everything you continue to do for me.

I have total trust in Dr. Gudeman. I have been seeing him for over ten years and commute 120 miles just to see him. He is a very dedicated, knowledgable, experienced Psychiatrist. I would strongly recommend him to family and friends. My personal experience is fantastic and I now am mentally stable. I no long suffer from deep depression and manic out breaks. I do not know how I would get along with his councelling.
