Dr. Silva is one of a kind, and definitely the best doctor for simple or complex medical situations. I say one of a kind because, most surgeons are short and gruff in their communications, while Silva from day one takes the time to explain and educate you on what has/is taking place as well as allowing you to be involved in all the decisions of your care. Extremely bright, and genuine. Would travel hours and hundreds of miles if necessary to be under his care.

Dr. Silva is a blessing to any woman that is diagnosed with breast cancer. He is upbeat, honest, caring, extremely knowledgeable, uses common sense and the latest in treatment methods. I would recommend anyone to consult with this man before making a decision on treatment.

Dr. Silva was an excellent partner for the surgical phase of my girlfriend's breast cancer treatment. He spent all the time we required to explain her diagnosis, the various surgical options, tests and test results, and post-surgical treatment. The Center for Breast Care at Creighton Hospital is world-class due to people like Dr. Silva.
