Dr. Craig Fultz was recommended to me by a foot specialist. He gave me excellent advice on my nine year old knee replacement and sent me to physical therapy. The man knows what he's talking about and he will not perform surgery if he doesn't have to. It's great going to an orthopedic that thinks of his patients health and well-being first.

I thought Dr. Fultz was fine for doing surgery although he seems very disconnected from his patients. However; if you are not an absolute, definite surgery case, you will not see Dr. Fultz but will be passed on to the PA. I realize he is a surgeon and surgery is what he does - but, he is first a physician. As a physician he took an oath "to help relieve human pain and suffering", sometimes that means doing a surgery and sometimes not. Either way, each patient deserves the physicians time and attention. Sadly, I cannot say Dr. Fultz has that standard. In addition, I did not like being put in an exam room for over 2 hours without being checked-on or updated by the staff. Also, it takes weeks to get in for an appointment. There is an orthopedic practice in town (not that assembly line one) that is appropriate in size and has excellent surgeons and patient care. So far, I am very pleased with the surgeons/physicians and support staff at that practice, they are my recommendation!

At firstI was intimidated by him...he is a bit distant but he is spot on with his diagnosis and I think he is the best Orthopedic in Harrisburg area. He isn't unfriendly, just shy but it takes some time to get comfortable with his manner. He is an excellent doctor and I would recommend him to anyone. Jane Dornsife, Harrisburg PA

I did not have a v gud exp with Dr. Fultz. During my first 2 visits he seemed to be in a rush and did not care to listen to what I had to say. The third time he didnt even come and see me, instead one of his interns/fellows came and saw me. I think if I paid to see him, he should have at least for his usual 2 minutes. He did not tell me what my issue was and after the third visit the intern told me to get physio-therapy for a month and come back. I had enough by then as I had already gone through 3 different types of tests by now, without a clear diagnosis or result. I did not want to be part of another "trial-n-error" thing. I may have been treated this way coz my problem may not have required a surgery and may have been less severe compared to most of his patients!! I would suggest you find another doctor or at least get a second opinion before you take a plunge

I agree with the other rating. He is an excellent surgeon. I would recommend him. I haven't talked to anyone that doesn't like him.
