Dr. Cohen is the best of the best of the best. I had a large tumor (42.85mm x 37.79mm) pressing against my brain. I was referred to Dr. Cohen who reviewed my scans and gave me the peace of mind that he could remove the tumor. Dr. Cohen walked me through the procedure and what the recovery would look like. Dr. Cohen was very kind and patient with me and even took the time to have a virtual appointment with my wife and I to answer several questions and concerns we had.
There are many attributes that describe Dr. Cohen: he is incredibly skillful, he has a tremendous bedside manner, he is kind and wants what is best for his patients. My recovery was smooth and within two months I was back to all my normal activities. I went back for my three month checkup and all is well. The MRI shows the tumor is gone. I was totally impressed with Dr. Cohen’s team. I give Dr. Cohen my highest recommendation. He is a kind, caring Doctor who I would refer to family or friends if they were in need of brain surgery. I thank God that he got me to Dr. Cohen. Thank you Dr. Cohen.

Dr. Cohen took care of my son who had an AVM (Arteriovenous Malformation). Dr. Cohen met with us in Oct. 2020 and recommended surgical removal, which was not what neurosurgeons we had seen before recommended. It was a shock, but he walked us through all the options and why he felt surgery was best. He took our son's case to a group of fellow doctors. He was patient and kind. He even accommodated us with another appointment to discuss all our questions. Our son's case was very complicated and Dr. Cohen was always kind, caring and compassionate. He successfully performed a very intricate surgery that removed the AVM and our son is doing so well! I can't imagine having any other neurosurgeon! All of his staff is just as knowledgeable, caring and when they say they will call or check on something, they follow through.

Dr. Cohen took excellent care of me in my time of need. I would not have wanted any other neurosurgeon to be a part of my health care team. I would refer any friend or family member without hesitation. Incredible knowledge, great bedside manner, and overall phenomenal provider! I had a great experience given the circumstance.

Dr. Cohen is simply fantastic. I had a large pituitary tumor (over 4cm) that was diagnosed in August. I met with a local neurosurgeon who, upon reviewing my MRI, stated he was not comfortable operating due to the growth, placement, etc. I was referred to Dr. Cohen who reviewed my scans and gave me reassurance that he could help and could remove a large majority of my tumor. I was scheduled for surgery within 2 months of diagnosis. He essentially held my hand every step of the way. He was in the surgical recovery room when I woke up to see how I was doing, there was a member of his team checking on me every day. I truly cannot say enough how thankful I am for his skilled hands and I would highly recommend him. Very kind, very gentle and soft spoken, excellent bedside manner and very truthful, you can tell he wants the best possible outcome for his patients but is not willing to put their health or life at risk.

My husband was in unbearable pain from glossopharyngeal neuralgia and we had exhausted our resources, then got an appointment with Dr. Cohen. I can't say enough about the amazing recovery my husband had after his surgery. He could hardly believe that he could actually touch his face and mouth without any pain at all. God has blessed you with a wonderful talent and we pray you continue to help people for many years to come. Thank you for giving both of us our lives back.
