First time I met with Dr. Milson was on 06/24/2021 after being diagnosed with colon cancer two weeks earlier. I am deaf and Dr. Milson spoke loudly and clearly to make sure I understood everything that needed to be addressed. The first thing thing he said to me was ," I am here to service you and will take care of you." That blew me away and gave me such confidence. He explained with a diagram where my cancer was located and explained exactly what he was going to do during surgery. His explanation was simple to understand. I have never met a doctor that was not only knowledgeable but humble and filled with such compassion. His staff is amazing and were aware of my deafness, spoke professional, and made sure I understood them. They were also excellent in following up and answering questions that I had. I am blessed and fortunate to have Dr. Milson as my surgeon.

I see a young woman in her early thirties and now disabled as a result of her care by Dr. Milsom. I am now 60 years old, and was 33 when Dr Milson performed a Rectopexy on me without informing me that I was part of a study on laparoscopic surgery which was not standard at the time. Dr. Milsom destroyed my life as it could have been, I have no spouse any longer, no children, I got breast cancer soon after the surgery he did on me in which my colon twisted and fell over. I lost total bowel function for over ten years when I finally had a complete colectomy - this was after five surgies and a number of small bowel obstructions which almost killed me.
I have worked hard at my health and do acupuncture and alternative medicine. I am barely 92 lbs and I suffer from neuropathic pain and structural problems as I am literally help together like a mummy. I have been to a Yale Medical Center, John Hopkins, George Washington University hospitals and when doctors see my history they are APALLED. Dr. Milson used me, and as his former colleagues said He deliberately butchered me knowing this particular surgery would not work on my condition and my physiology, I had a long sigmoid that flopped. But he needed data for his study, and once he had it published his findings and I was the failed person among the rest who were all over 70 years old.
I hope Dr.Milsom reads this so he can hear what he has done to me as I have lived a productive life but it has been full f suffering and pain. I rate him a zero for unethical

Dr Milsom is the most compassionate doctor I have ever met. He saved my life. After suffering from ulcerative colitis, then Crohn's disease I had a total colectomy & an ileostomy. Then I suffered a small bowel rupture. Unfortunately the ambulance had to take me to the nearest hospital. The surgeon did a good job, but it just wasn't Dr Milsom. I later developed massive infections & immediately went to see Dr Milsom. I ended up staying in the hospital for over 4 months. Every time I had to have surgery (which was often) Dr Milsom was there in the OR before I went under to reassure me & hold my hand while I drifted off. He always made sure to talk to my family and reassure them also. I can't say enough about him. I have met other patients of Dr Milsom in random places & they don't have to say his name. As soon as they start talking about this wonderful, kind, considerate & most competent surgeon I know...I ask them "Is his name Dr Jeffrey Milsom?" Every time they are astonished & their response is,'"Yes. How did you know?" That will tell you that he treats us all as if we are VIPs. He is a Godsend to many people & their families.

Dr. Milsom saved my life 11 years ago. Since then I never missed a scheduled follow-up or test. In the last 11 years visited Dr. Milsom's office 15 - 20 times. Each visit was very reassuring and gave me great confidence that I am getting the best care possible. Dr. Milsom gives you the feeling that you are his most important patient. Takes time to check everything and to make sure that I am reassured that things are ok.

Dr. Milsom has performed two major surgeries on me in the last year and was following me for a couple of years prior to the surgeries. Although the operations and recovery have not been easy, they have been considered successful aside from a few bumps along the way that are totally unrelated to his surgical expertise. I have complete trust in his surgical skills and experience, his diagnosis, his treatment plans and I always leave his office with hope. He is a top expert in his field, has a very calm demeanor, is exceptionally patient and cares deeply about his patients and their well being. He is the blueprint for what all surgeons should aspire to be.

Im in my early 30's and I'm disabled for the rest of my life becasue of Dr. Milsom & he could care less. Because he damaged a nerve in my pelvis I am no longer able to have sex or have children. I had a fast paced great career that I lost due to the fact that I'm in constant pain. Its been a year since he did this to me and he has not called me once to even check up on me. he is over booked and thinks hes a god. What should have been an overnight surgery ended me up with a damaged nerve and a hole in my colon so at 30 yrs old I had a ileostomy! Which means I had to poop though a bag on my stomach. This should have been a simple 123 easy breezy surgey. But he is so geedy he didnt take me into the operating room till 3am!! and he was probablt exhausted when he made his mistake. Now im disabled, never 2 have sex again or children or work & he gets $30,000 of my hard earned money. Dont listen to the hype, hes a arragent **** who knows nothing.
