Great doc who looks for best individual approach. I do agree with the last writer concerning ilicit drug use. If you are a narcotic seeker or drug user you will hate this clinic. They do not cater to that clientele. For the legitimate patients out there, it is a great place.

I had been going to him for 5 years....I have several diseases and unfortunately I can not tolerate heavy pain meds other than Tramadol ...OA Spine and problematic C2 that requires deep tissue injections and Physical Therapy ....I tested positive for THC after my vacation in Colorado and was sent a letter saying he would drop as a patient if it happen again and gave me information on drug rehab...I don't drink, smoke or do narcotics ....so I said goodby to him and Texas.......I don't need to be judged...I need pain relief...

I was referred to this "doctor" after I hurt my back and shoulder and had some issues show up on an MRI that was requested by my family doctor. I have never really been ill- I've always been incredibly blessed with great health and so this injury was incredibly frustrating and severely impacted my life for some time. Mr. Miller was apathetic, disinterested, and completely lacking in compassion. He spent about ten minutes with me and essentially told me there is nothing he could do for me, and ended with an implied accusation of my wanting pain medication! I was completely incredulous at his horribly rude and condescending bedside manner. How this person ever received a good rating is unbelievable, unless his staff writes bogus reviews. Incidentally, I sought a second opinion from another specialist who addressed my injury, making a solid diagnosis and working with me to develop a treatment plan, and guess what..? Zero pain medicine, lots of physical therapy, and a year later, I am well and functional again. Shame on this "doctor." He treated me in such a way that not only would I never return to him but I will most definitely spread the word about his apathetic, disinterested, unsympathetic, and detached approach to whatever his version of medicine might be. I'm pretty sure the Hippocratic Oath or whatever covenant he made upon graduating from medical school didn't encourage treating patients in such an uncaring way.

I was referred to Dr. Miller nearly four years ago for lower back pain and have since incurred other injuries (shoulder). With his treatment I'm able to resume all my activities and am pain-free today. He always listens to my concerns and tells me my treatment options. Best of all, he relieves my pain every single time. I'm grateful for his expertise. It's really life-changing to be out of pain.

I DO NOT KNOW HOW THIS DR GOT A GOOD RATING EVER UNLESS IT WAS JUST ME HE DID NOT LIKE. I HAVE HAD BACK PAIN SINCE I BROKE MY NECK AND COMPACTED MY SPINE WHEN I WAS 15. 3 YRS AFTER HAVING A FUSION THE PAIN RETURNED IN FULL FORCE AND WAS KILLING ME. THE ER REFERRED ME TO MR MILLER HE TALKED TO ME FOR ALL OF 3 MIN AND WAS COLD AND CONDESCENDING IN THE PROCESS, I COULD TELL FROM THE GET GO THAT HE WAS NOT GOING TO HELP. BUT I DID AS ORDERED, HAD A $2000 OUT OF POCKET MRI DONE AND THEN HE SAID I DONT HAVE ENOUGH PAIN FOR HIM TO TREAT. WTF I HAVE BEEN IN PAIN MANAGEMENT FOR 12YRS, DONT TELL ME HOW I FEEL. IF I WAS NOT IN COMPLETE AGONY WOULD I HAVE INVESTED THAT MONEY AND TIME TO HAVE HIM TREAT ME. I AM FURIOUS, INSULTED, AND NOW STUCK SPENDING MORE CASH FOR A NEW DR TO ACTUALLY TREAT ME. DONT SEE THIS GUY, HE IS A JOKE AND WILL LEAVE YOU IN PAIN AND WITH NO DIGNITY OR RELIEF.

I can never get staff to return my calls after calling twice. My last visit I felt hurried and need to find a MD that will work with me more and explain what is going on. This doctor's office will not work with you if you must reschedule an appointment. You'll have to wait 4-6 weeks for another appointment. I've yet to get his staff to keep their word. His staff is not knowledgeable about billing/invoicing.

I had to see this doctor because my pain doctor left. What a great, caring compassionate doctor. I am out of pain for the fist time in years. Very helpful staff, feels like visiting friends when I go in.
