I have been fighting MS for some time now . I have seen multiple doctors for this reason ,Dr. Woo is the most knowledgeable ,caring funny , sweet, understanding Dr. I have had Yet. He tells you all the options ,completely explains things in terms you can understand . I really felt he cared about my well being and helping me fight this disease , I wasn't Just another name & number like I had felt so many times before . I had brain surgery 4 years ago and my neurologist was not helpful or personable. She tried to give me more and more medications that were not helping to relieve my headaches. I had my first appointment with Dr Woo and he was extremely helpful and I had instant relief of my headaches with his care. He is very nice as well. The best neurologist out there.

I think the two negative comments about Dr. Woo are made by the same person and that person obviously has issues of their own. Dr. Woo is one of the most intelligent, thorough, up to date on the type of neurological diseases he treats of any doctor I have had. He is *THE* best! He answers all questions, takes plenty of time, is deeply caring about his patients and not just after money. I have seen several neurologists and he is the best by far. I am very grateful to have him.

Dr. Woo is hands down one of the best doctors I have ever seen, let alone a specialist. He spent so much time explaining my condition to me and making sure I understood all the options I have. He stayed with me for well over an hour reviewing MRI's, explaining medications and treatment options. I highly reccommend him!!!

Dr. Woo was my neurologist in WI for about 7 years. He is the most well informed and kindest doctor I ever had for treating my MS. He is very highly educated and keeps abreast on current research & meds. Due to this, he is able to assess their effectiveness and to help you decide which one is best for you and why. His use of email, and his prompt reply to any problems or concerns a patient is facing, is a tribute to the heart of this doctor. He cares about his patients and no question is ever a dumb question. He is NOT CONDESCENDING. I had to stop telling other patients about him because it became difficult for me to get an appt. And once he was aware of that, he stayed late to see me. Many of his WI patients were extremely sad upon hearing of his departure. He was the doctor many other doctors would prefer to have treating their families. I don't know what occurred with the unhappy patients, but I would not let their words influence your decision. It would be a huge mistake.

I cannot believe that anyone would give Dr Woo a bad rating. I have never in my life had a more attentive dr. When I would email him within an hour he was emailing me back and calling all 3 numbers I had listed. Not to mention his knowledge. I have a rare demylinating disease that once researching online found most people spend 5-10 with different drs before they get a diagnosis. Dr Woo was on to the correct diagnosis within 6 months. Like another person posted he makes you feel like his only patient and he always has time to discuss what is going on with you.

I just saw this doctor for the first time ever; he spent over 2.5 hours with my spouse and me; he was extremely knowledgeable and kind, which was especially appreciative because I have a complicated and problematic history. He treated me as if I was the only patient in the world, as if he had all the time in the world to spend with me, and he was very informative and comprehensive in setting up tests and treatment for me. Because it would be more convenient to have testing done near my home, he asked me to e-mail me as soon as I was done testing so he would know to watch for the results; when I did e-mail him, he responded to my e-mail within a half-hour, and was kind again to boot!
