At St Luke's in Boise, he gave us the support and comfort we so desperately needed. Thank you so very much!

I think this doctor is a genius. I was having terrible headaches, and instead of just giving me pain meds, he accurately diagnosed the problem, which was something I'd never even considered. He then gave me vitamin supplements, physical therapy, and a pain med which I never needed to use as the other things were so helpful. I think he's a wonderful doctor!

This Dr. seemed like a complete nut job. He told me drinking caffeinated soda could cause me to have a seizure (never had a seizure before in my life.) He was quick to blame some of my symptoms on medications that I haven't been on for very long, despite the fact that I've had the symptoms for a very long time and they obviously started months and years before any other medication. I wish I would have read reviews before going to my appt!! Do NOT waste your time, or money going to see him!!

No compassion, no emotions, dr gave us no hope, left a few messages to the dr , nurses are calling back day or two after, no help, just telling to keep next appointment which is six weeks away. Will not come back or refer any one to this dr or office.

Dr. Black is an amazing doctor. I have been fighting with my insurance company for a medication that they don't want to pay. Dr. Black and his office has been contacting my insurance company every day. They are taking their time to help me. I'm very happy with him and his office, Jennifer is an amazing person too. I have no complaints I'm very happy with his office.

We took care of my mother in law for the last 18 months of her life .her regular doctor prescribed a medication Not realizing that it would cause her to fall. Falling initiated the last nine months of her life being in bed. Her regular doctor refused to be her doctor. We contacted Dr. Black who carefully worked with her and who knew which medicines would work well with her condition and who quickly helped us set up needed assistance. If it hadn't been for his help, we would have had to put her in a care center. We used Dr. Black again to diagnose severe abdominal pain in me 2010...he again knew exactly what to do and he he knew what resources we had to take advantage of and he helped put those resources at our finger tips in record time. He is like the old-fashioned doctor who is available 24 hours a day when necessary to see that his patients have what they need when they need it. His convenience was never even a consideration for him.

Dr. Evan Black has been extremely helpful to both my son who had childhood seizures and my husband who had anxiety issues. In both cases he efficiently diagnosed the problem using accurate testing. He then prescribed the appropriate medication to fix the problem. Due to his prompt and compassionate response my son outgrew the seizure condition without any side effects. My husband's condition has also improved dramatically due to Dr. Black's continued help. I strongly recommend this doctor.

I called to get a refill on my Rx and after a week I called them back and ended up having to make and appointment to get a new Rx (the appointment was a month later). I went to the appointment and it was not scheduled in their computer, the doctor was not even in the office. So I rescheduled for a month later. The day of my appointment (a month later) they called me and asked if I could come in 45 minutes early because Dr. Black had to leave early. I could not come in because I had to work. So I was rescheduled again. I told the receptionist I was very frustrated about being rescheduled so many times and she did not care. She didn't even say sorry. Three months to get in to see the doctor for more medication? I don't think so. I am finding a new doctor. Do not go to Dr. Evan Black.

First the office staff double booked us and we had to reschedule. We called before our appt to confirm the test results were back. I called again to see if the test results were back, and was told only the doctor can access it. I called them incompetent and they hung up on me! I called again and the nurse accused me of threatening and bullying her staff, said she didn't have time to deal with me and suggested I reschedule my appointment -but I would be charged for cancelling with < 24 hours notice! I went to my appointment and told Dr. Black, who defended his staff, accused me of hanging up on them, and suggested I see another office! He would not give me a referral to the doctor (who had already agreed to see me with a referral) . I am disgusted with the unwillingness of the medical staff to do their job, their absolute lack of compassion, willingness to admit their mistakes, apologize and try to help fix them. Please do yourself a favor and see someone else.

After waiting the 6 weeks it took to actually get an appointment, I arrived at the office on the website 10 minutes before my appt. When I arrived, I was told that I was at the wrong location and would have to drive halfway across the valley. I did, and arrived at the actual office location at 9:15 for a 9:00 appt. The staff told me I could not see the dr. because I was 15 minutes late, even though the other office had told them I was coming, and even though they were the ones who had failed to provide me with the correct address. I insisted that I see the dr., or talk with the office manager, and was told again that I would need to reschedule. At the thought of living through daily headaches and migraines for another month, and the wasted babysitter hours I had just used up, I began to cry. At that point, another office staffer told me that I was disturbing the other patients (the waiting room was empty) and would need to leave. Ironically, the experience left me with a migraine.
