Dr. Miller was my dad's oncologist when his colon cancer recurred after many years. He was scared out of his wits; his father also died of cancer when he was a boy. Dr. Miller put him at ease with her confidence and her excellent communication skills. She utilized her knowledge, interpersonal skills and humor to gain his trust and confidence in her care. She was tactful, yet direct, honest and clear. Although Dad's cancer was very advanced by the time he had symptoms and went to the hospital, Dr. Miller was a godsend for Dad, and for us all. Our family will always remember how she approached him and will treasure how simply and completely she put him at ease. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for an awesome doctor. Dr.Miller was my oncologists for breast Cancer which I was diagnosed with at age 46. Even though I was very much afraid upon first meeting her,(my mother had died from Breast cancer at age 58), I felt very reasured by her knowledge and bedside manner. I was going through a divorce, I did not want, in the process of selling my home, but didn't know where I would be living, and couldn't work, so I had limited income coming in! These things were far more important to me than restling with the breast cancer was. All of these life crisises coming at me all at once took an enourmous amount of faith to get through. Thank God I had the best doctor I could of had to help me through such a difficutl time. Belief me she was!I can be a rebel of sorts at times and going through chemo brought it out of me. I almost never had an appointment time. I'd show up on the day I was suppose to be there, but I'd pick my own time! They called me the girl without a time! I came in when I wanted or it
