I had excellent care from Dr MaAdoo and his staff for pre-op, surgery and post op care and follow up. I would highly recommend Dr McAdoo.

This man is an abusive ego maniac. I would never recommend him to anyone. Please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else

Seems that even when certain patients have health issues during pregnancy, he is unmoved to do what he should do. May or may not give you full information regarding your situation. If you choose to use his services, please seek a back up dr. for a second opinion!

I live in Moorcroft and I am a patient of Dr. Mcadoo. I saw him on several occasions and he did a procedure on me when he practiced in Spearfish. Although he moved to Sheridan, I am still a patient and recently had a procedure done in Dec. I think he is a wonderful doctor with a kind bedside manner. I don't think the distance is a factor when you find a Dr. as good as he is.

He is awesome! He helped me through a difficult miscarrage and helped me successfully deliver my daughter. I had a terrible pregnancy and he was there the whole time to help me through it. I highly recommend him. He is straight to the point, gentle and knowledgeable.

Dr. Mcadoo (now in Sheridan, WY) was my doctor during my pregnancy and delivery for my daughter, and I couldn't have asked for a better doctor. I consulted someone who knows all of the OB/GYNs in town on a professional level, and Dr. Mcadoo came back as the resounding top choice for his level of expertise and for keeping up with advances in his field. He always had time to answer questions about my pregnancy, and during delivery his instructions were very clear and he was willing to go the extra mile to avoid what was very nearly a C-section. I couldn't be happier, and will definitely continue seeing this doctor.

Dr. McAdoo was my doctor while I was pregnant with my son. I totally loved having him as my doctor. His nurses were friendly and so very helpful. Now the lady who made the appointments was a bit cold and uncaring but I feel that Dr. McAdoo and his nurses should be blamed for that. Although he has since moved from Spearfish, SD to Sheridan, Wyoming. Since I too now live near Sheridan, Wyoming I have an appointment to see him again after almost 7 years.

To make a VERY long story short, Dr. Gregg McAdoo, Spearfish OB/GYN, perforated my bowel during surgery in 2005. I was in "observation" for two days before a consulting surgeon recognized I was in septic shock and performed emergency surgery. I went into kidney and respiratory failure and was not expected to live. I was hospitalized for weeks and convalesced for months. My resulting abdominal wound (8”x 4”x4”) took three months to heal, then I needed hernia surgery. For two years after the surgery, I experienced countless health problems. It has taken nearly four years to completely recover. To pursue legal action would have cost me up to $75,000 in expenses. South Dakota juries are more sympathetic to doctors than injured patients. I will never be convinced, however, that my care was adequate or appropriate. Trusting my medical care to Dr. Gregg McAdoo nearly cost my life. Patients, beware! Check out credentials and track records of physicians!

I also like this guy. He seems sincere and knowledgeable---but the scheduling staff who book his appts are evil. They actually hung up on me when I said hold on, let me check my calendar to find when I can come in. They do this regularly, I have friends from work who have rcvd the same treatment. They also try to talk you out of coming in, as though you are not really sick. I had a tumor, but since I couldn't get in to this guy enough to get him to diagnose it, Dr. Church found it instead. The tumor eventually caused me to loose a job I had had over 5 years. Too much illness, too many absences. It is a shame his front office staff is driving patients away. Dr. Church had told me she had gotten alot of his patients, not due to him, but because of the front office staff....The only thing I could say of Dr. Greg is that his voice is sometimes too loud--he talks too loudly about very private stuff and I felt embarrassed at times.
