Dr. El Kommos did both of my total knee replacements. He’s an amazing surgeon. I Couldn’t ask for better treatment.

Worst experience I have ever had with a doctor. Extremely rude, condescending, borderline abusive. I will never go back to this office and would never ever allow him to see any of my loved ones. One star is too many for this experience.

Dr el komos treated my 87 year old mother. He did a total knee replacement for her . No other doctor would even give us the time of day. Mother was in such pain we were desperate to get her help. Dr el komos did a wonderful job. She is up and walking and out of pain. He was an answer to our prayers.

Had recommendation for TKR from a different surgeon, El Kommos suggested Arthroscopic instead. Sounded feasible (even though I had arthroscopy done on the same knee three years earlier. After surgery and 8 weeks of physical therapy I only had a 30% improvement in pain.

Horrible experience, no people skills. Due to his ego and not listening to things I tried to tell him was going on with my shoulder, I am now having to go through surgery to re-break my shoulder due to bad alignment and if he would have listened to me when I tried to explain unusual and severe pain he could have found that I have a full tear of the rotator cuff that affects the entire length of the tendon. Wish I had changed doctors sooner!!! He gives the impression that women are beneath him. Had he given me the attention of a caring physician I would not be having to go through as much in surgery to correct his negligence. I know now don't just go to where ER refers you, check reviews FIRST! If I had, I would have probably never went to him. When he wanted me to start therapy, I was given a list of facilities by his staff, when he found out I wanted to use one that was near my home AND on his list, he went off on me and came right out and told me he makes money on me going to PT at his office and that's where he wanted me to go. That was last time I went to him.

I haven't seen him myself, but based on someone I know who did, he totally had her cast wrong! Fingers turned yellow. Was way too tight. And accused her of drug seeking and refused her any medication, even an anti-inflammatory. This woman has never in her life taken a pain medication! She found a new Doctor immediately and they could not believe his incompetent physical treatment and horrible manner he accused her of being.
An attorney will be happening. Do not go to him! I hope he stops practice! July 2017

I have been to Dr. Kommos 3 times. What a jerk. Never going back again. He is unprofessional. Doesn't ask any questions and surly doesn't answer any. 3 visits and my total time with him amounted to 3 min.. I can't bend over. Can hardly walk.,i have a severe condition with my back and my job is very physical. He got mad with me when I complained to staff how he just leaves you with a 30 second visit. So he would not give me a note to miss work. The nurse said how dare I complain. I was lelf feeling. Insulted berated and I'm still a 10 in pain. I say close the whole building down. I have never been treated so badley. If you look at comments you see way more bad than good. Run. Don't look back

HORRIBLE doctor! NO sympathy for the patient. Struts in for a few seconds, makes an idiot comment "I've seen much worse," then leaves the room. Then everything else is done by assistants. Doesn't listen. Doesn't care. One cast was too tight and may have caused nerve damage. Didn't prescribe any physical therapy for an 86 yr old who'd been in a wheelchair for two months (broken arm & boot on foot). Had to see a second doctor who immediately prescribed several therapies and was VERY concerned about the condition of her limbs (this was several weeks after the cast/boot had been removed). Based on our experience, If you care about your health, stay away from this man!!!!

This man .... I'm not going to call him a doctor is the worst I've ever had . It seems also he doesn't care for Americans my opinion . Any how he did a knee replacement a year ago this knee is still swollen and giving me pain I'm seeing a second opinion doctor and to find out and lots of money more my knee has to be redone because the knee replacement Elkommos put in is to big and loose and a piece isn't laying right . I told Elkommos 2 weeks after something is wrong with it . This guy can care less about his patients ... A law firm has been contacted.
