She is perhaps the most miserable piece of garbage I have ever seen working as a doctor. She is rude, surly, and hardly knows anything about medicine. She is not helpful at all, and always dismissive of patients.

Biography

Dr. Catherine Wittgen provides a full spectrum of vascular interventions, including open and endovascular treatment for conditions such as carotid artery disease and aortic aneurysms. While she specializes in salvaging limbs, Dr. Wittgen also offers wound care for patients requiring amputation.For more than 20 years, Dr. Wittgen has participated in large clinical trials regarding medical management of peripheral artery disease (PAD) and gene therapy for patients with critical limb ischemia.Dr. Wittgen is a professor in the Department of Surgery, Division of Vascular Surgery, at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. She is president of the medical staff at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital.Her professional memberships include the American College of Surgeons, Society for Clinical Vascular Surgery, and Society of Critical Care Medicine. She is past president of the St. Louis Surgical Society.Dr. Wittgen was the first female vascular fellow to train at Harvard.
