Dr. Schertzinger is fine and competent despite a peculiar bedside manner. But his main receptionist, Theresa Hudson, is an ungodly nightmare to deal with. She's rude, curt, unpleasant, dismissive, unresponsive, intentionally creates road blocks and is completely lacking in empathy and any sense of responsibility to the office's patients. Any benefits of Schertzinger's care are completely negated by having to deal with Theresa. Look elsewhere unless you enjoy being abused by desk jockeys with Napoleon complexes.

HE CHANGES HIS STORY AND OPINIONS FROM ONE APPOINTMENT TO THE NEXT. DOESNT ALWAYS EVEN READ TEST RESULTS OR UNDERSTAND THEM. HIS STAFF NEVER SEEM TO KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON.

Dr Schertzinger is wonderful. I actually have seen him for pain - he does back pain & overall pain as well as Sports Med. He listens well, takes your entire medical state into account and doesn't rush to judgment or diagnosis. I have needed to wait once or twice for my appt (out of many appts) but he takes all the time needed with each and every patient. I had a binder of background information, test results, etc when I saw him which he took home and studied... we then worked in partnership to develop a course of treatment for me. And I am now functioning well for the first time in 2 years! He does want his patients to participate in the process of getting well. He is an expert in his field. He also has evening and Saturday hours which makes seeing him more convenient.
