I have seen Dr. Rafiq 2x, and once each with my daughters. On the initial consult she was welcoming, and enthusiastic to get the labs done to begin working with me, as a new patient. The follow-up was disastrous! She asked me why I was there, had I read my own results and what was it I wanted?! She sat there silent, and taciturn - until I had to say “well, I was hoping you could walk me through the results? Are there any concerns? We were watching xyz”. She then seemed to reluctantly turn to the screen. I see the truth of other comments — very disinterested, in a hurry to get on with it, seems to dislike her job (or her patients). I was dissatisfied with her answers to my question— seems to indicate a lack of keeping abreast with the evolution of medical practice and science, or (worse) a pedantic dismissal of my ability to understand. I don’t want to hear what other women are doing, I want the facts behind - why this or that intervention, and the counter-indications. I options discussed, objectively and with scientifically sound explanations. I am generally healthy, and have not had much occasion to compare (frankly, I chose this clinic for proximity) but silence, platitudes and ZERO questions or front-end screening is not what I expect from a physician.

Dr. Fizza is my family doctor for almost 8 years. She is very knowledgeable specially with women diseases. Everytime I visit her, I don't have explain myself further. She already gets what need to be done.

Instead of waiting for a normal delivery of my child, she manipulated the gynaecologist to prefer C-Section just because being called in the night was inconvenient for her.

Why are these type of doctors who have 0 bed side manners allowed to practice! Just because they made it through med school doesnt make them qualified and I would recommend they switch to treating animals as a vet but even animals deserve compassion. Do Not give this doctor ur business or you will regret it.

I know it's covid, I know we can all use that excuse for anything now a days, my mom went to see this doctor and she was kicked out of clinic because she was coughing, I get it's covid. The Dr. Did a phone consult with her then my mom had a coughing episode while getter her over the phone prescribed medication...she turned purple and couldn't breathe while at pharmacy (this was not doctors fault) what is doctors fault is that I called her office to find out what next steps are and to advise of the days events and I was promised a call back. Guess what no call back, that really goes to show how much this doctor cares. Very disappointing

To start this off. The last time i went in - her weekend staff were nothing but plain rude. One of the receptionists kept staring and literally talking about me to the other receptionist making it nothing but obvious. You do not feel welcomed what so ever. Every single time I go in to see Dr. Rafiq, she asks me a couple questions while looking at the computer. She half-lets my medical concerns slide. She does not once make eye contact with me when i come in to see her -diagnosing me as quick as 60 seconds. Throwing medication at people does not always help their problems. Also went for blood work she tells me that I am not low. I was in need of taking iron supplements. She truly does not care about any of her patients. I highly recommend not going there under any circumstance.

Have found this Doctor one who I dread seeing, as my family doctor she chooses who she is interested or not. My blood tests show I need to see a kidney specialist but for the past year all she say is have I made an appointment with one, Hey I need a referral from you first. Obviosly not looking at my blood test. I am overweight but multiple disease that cause me either not to loose weight or makes it very difficult to loose trust me Ive been on a diet all my life. She then says to me do you want gastrict bypass surgery then laughs and says oh you probably cant do it with all your health problems, what a slap in the face. Over 8 years ago I had bad sleep apnea one of the worst cases the sleep clinic ever saw, they , I gained 100lbs. through no fault of my own. I had no metabolism. I hardly ate but everything I did went to fat. She kept sending me to a sleep clinic that cost over 2000.$ I couldn't afford that. I told my Cardioligist she got me into the foothills sleep clinic that cost nothing. I do not like this physian but am stuck!!!

Dr. Rafiq has an extremely disinterested attitude. She does not take the patient's complaints seriously. She barely asked any questions as if she simply did not care to know about the symptoms I experienced.

You can't find a more disinterested doctor if your life depended on it. I've seen Dr. Fizza twice and I've come to conclude that either she hates her job and hence appears as a bad doctor OR she has a race to see the most patients possible in a day (do they get paid more for this?) which also makes her a bad doctor. Either way, I've never encountered a worst physician. She is very quiet and if you want to get anything out of her, you better ask a ton of questions but you'll likely not really get much of a response. She seems to always be in a rush to get you out of there. If you want proper medical care, go see any other doctor.

Highly pleased with my experience at her office. Staff are amicable and kind, I would recommend Dr. Fizza Rafiq to anyone looking for a new family doctor
