I was referred to Dr. Baiz to try a diagnose a long time problem with pain, numbess and tingling in left arm. His conclusion was that although I did have some nuerological problems, nothing that should be causing my symptoms and diagnosed me as "needing surgery but would not recommend as she needs phyciatric care". Several months later I ended up in the hospital with thoracic outlet syndrome, blood clot in left shoulder and a vascular surgery done to remove my left rib. The vascular surgeon asked how it had gone so long without treatment as I surely had symptoms. I told him of the misdiagnosis. A simple TOA test done by hand, no equipment needed could have diagnosed the problem. Due to Dr. Baiz's inability to take me at my word I suffered months of discomfort and ended up with a life threatening blood clot, 1 week hospitalization for that and then another surgery to correct the problem. Poor diagnostic skills.
