I have struggled with chronic gut issues most of my life. I had tried everything to help it myself. In 2016 I was diagnosed with severe IBS. I was given one prescription after another with no success at all! I had several trips to the ER for severe nausea and intestinal pain. I was not well when I finally saw Dr. Yim. I had pretty much given up. Nausea and pain daily. He treated my food issues with great results. He ordered a test that most GP's hadn't even heard of, let alone treat, several tests and two specialists didn't find the problem. Within a few months on Dr. Yim's treatment plan, the nausea was completely gone! I absolutely have a new lease on life. He literally saved my life as I was just getting sicker and sicker. After many years struggling with skin ailments for a decadeand regular doctor giving me cortisone cream that didn’t work after a year, Dr. Yim helped me clear up the skin problems and then started on other ailments. This guy is good!

Absolute best doc out there! After so many dead ends with other doctors and specialists not able to help my Mom she was a tad nervous to say the least! He took his time explaining everything and how everything works... then came up with a genius way to heal her feet but also help her from the inside/out! He not only made us feel comfortable but his knowledge and caring were outstanding! Dr Yim is top of the class and I would highly recommend him! His staff are also incredible! Friendliest staff I have ever met!

i went to see Dr. Yim to help me control my blood sugars. Type 2 Diabetes runs in my family so at the age of 56 I was diagnosed with it. I have been doing pretty good but all of a sudden i find that my sugar levels were going quite high. He put me on a ketogenic diet and they are coming down and I am losing weight and feel much better. He is very knowledgeable about things and listens to what you have to say. I am very impressed with him and look forward to my sugar levels dropping even lower. Thank you Dr. Yim

I took my eldest son to see Dr. Yim when he was three years old. He had severe eczema from head to toe. Our general practitioners advice was to put cortisone on his skin and drug him so that he could sleep and not itch all night! :( Dr Yim suggested food allergy/sensitivity testing and natural creams to soothe his skin. Within months his skin improved greatly and so did our lives. Thank you Dr. Yim!

Dr. Yim and his staff are awesome !! He listens to you and thinks it through thoroughly. My husband is on prescription heart meds and Dr Yim always considers any possible conflicts with them before prescribing natural treatment. He IA very knowledgeable and his staff are very accommodating. They don't charge to photocopy information for us....unlike one other Naturopathic Dr in Abbotsford who charged us 75 cents to photocopy a page of info....ridiculous. I highly recommend Dr Yim and his staff. If you are thinking of checking out a Naturopathic Dr....he would be a great choice. He never wants to overwhelm you. He will explain his diagnosis and how he is planning to treat it in stages....so not too many supplements to buy and take at once....excellent.

My husband has been seeing Dr.Yim for a few years. His Dr. suggested blood pressure medication but Dr.Yim's program had his blood pressure managed fairly quickly without prescriptions meds and it's great now, He also had food sensitivity testing which I decided to do as well and this has changed our lives completely. We have tons of energy, feel better, sleep better just amazing results. The first month or so was a challenge to find new foods and recipes to incorporate the changes we were trying to make but WOW! We take a few supplements but mostly have found a way to eat that is more healthy and in tune with what our bodies need. Overall I think Dr. YIm is a brilliant professional who is
constantly searching for new knowledge and is a life saver!

I started seeing Dr. Yim about 3 years ago due to sinus infections, allergies, as well as catching frequent colds and illnesses. He listened to my concerns and came up with a doable game plan to make change successful. Since that time, he has helped me turn my health completely around. More recently, I had an unfortunate long lasting experience with food poisoning and John was the one that helped me figure it out and get healthy again.
