Horrible practice, very judgemental greedy doctor! Horrible staff! I would rather go to a walk in clinic or wait 10 hours at a hospital rather than go see her. My kids hate her they refuse to go see her everytime i had to explain to them that this is the system we cannot chose our doctor no matter how bad they are!

She is a swinging door doctor, with appts being less than 10 minutes. She remains in the patient room after your appointment is done and adds things to your chart that says she discussed with you that never happened. I suffered severe financial hardship because I was unable to work due to the pain I was experiencing. She diagnosed me with plantar fasciitis without any tests or treatments. This was after I explained that both my legs and feet are in constant pain. I pleaded with her to fill out a disability form because I knew I could not work and for months at a time I was bedridden. She refused and I suffered the consequences financially. Finally desperate for medical help I had a family member assist me to her office and demanded tests to be done which resulted in being approved with a disability. Her first reaction to me was why are you here you should go to the emergency department. I said your my doctor I I need tests done. Once she reluctantly agreed to do tests it showed significant issues. So in her panic she told me once again to go to the emergency to get an emergency CT scan. This time I went because she was not providing me duty of care. The emergency doctor was dumbfounded by her suggesting that a person with good vitals would be considered for an emergency CT scan but the attending physician referred me to a specialist where I received incredible duty of care and the proper diagnosis.
Her demeanour in the office is to dismiss your problems and get you out of the office as fast as she can. I got a copy of my medical records which depicted a different account of my visits with her. She was hesitant to give me my medical records but agreed for a cost of $100 dollars. When I received the records they were only for the year 2022 even though I had been a patient since 2019, she claimed that she was told that I only wanted that year. I clearly said since 2019, she then charged me another $100 dollars for the next set of medical records, surprisingly what was left out of the next set of records was the appointment where I demanded tests to be done.
What is the hardest part of remaining with her is that for approval of your disability rests on the doctor who submitted the claim. I struggled to stay with her until the approval came and then I left her. I then requested my final medical records and she again charged me $100 for those records.
If you’ve had a good experience with her good for you because when you have a significant problem she dismisses it. That’s what happed to me and I am now suffering the consequences of her actions.
So for all the people that thinks she’s great, that’s your purgative, but please don’t discount what others that have experienced with her as their doctor.

The medical association needs to take away her medical license immediately! She gives foreign doctors a very bad name. Her methods are the same as the methods in her country. I am sure she had to pass tests in ONTARIO, but after doing so, went back to her old ways in Egypt. This does not comply with our methods here, in Canada. Why is the medical association NOT revoking her license???

I actually really like Dr. Sadek and her staff. Reception is very friendly, and I never have to wait. The office is clean. Dr Sadek does not beat around the bush and she won’t take up your time. She will tell you what is important, and what needs to be done!

Dr. Amel Sadek is unprofessional, rude, insecure and short tempered. she nearly killed me in 2010.
I have a family history and NOW my very own history with colon cancer and she refused to send me for a colonoscopy insisting I was too young for colon cancer. age 38 at the time. got a different doctor to send me FINALY, and they took a cancerous polyp from my body in 2010. my specialist told me he was sick and tired of doctors telling people they’re too young for things.

she treats you like a hypochondriac & gets highly insulted if you tell her you did some of your own research (by force since she doesn’t help, or believe you, you have no other choice) everything i’ve ever gone to her for which isn’t many things because i barely ever go to the doctor, she treated me like i was an idiot. like I haven't been in my own body for many years & don’t know when something isn’t right. twice she told me to go home & drink wine to lower my cholesterol. i don’t drink but what if i did & had a problem ? dumbest advice ever! I took myself off her patient list. my cousin is a nurse practitioner in another province, and after some of the stories I’ve told her even she concluded that Sadek is an idiot.

I’d rather have no doctor in this terrible healthcare crisis we are having than be her patient for one more visit. it was ALWAYS a waste of my time booked appointments, often taking an hour or more just to get into the room and then another half hour waiting for her only to be dismissed after five minutes. & I always left angry & with no answers. The last visit was a straight up fight with her. I’ll go to walk-in doctors until I can get a new one whenever that’s gonna be.

I’d also like to add that just before I took myself off her patient list I told her I did not want to wait 4 years between colonoscopies since the cancer was detected between just two colonoscopies that were a year apart. her response was that “ It’s a slow growing cancer”. My jaw was on the floor. My first thought was, if I was one of her family members she wouldn’t be saying that.

So now I have no Doctor and that’s not a very good thing especially in these times that we are in.

I hope to find a Doctor Who will listen to me the rare time I go see them. I hope to find a Doctor Who will take care of me because that’s what my taxes as a Canadian citizen pays for. I’m a very easy person to get along with, and I have always been a person who enjoys health sciences.

Refuses to see her own patients. Refuses to refill life saving blood thinners.
But she held onto patients files so they could not get a new dr! Shes useless. Worst dr ive ever met. Completely incompetent and needs to have her license REVOKED. Shes a danger to society

Dr. Sadek lacks compassion & positive social skills. She gets easily annoyed. My mom goes for monthly walk-in B12 shots. When I asked a medical question regarding my moms forgetfulness she actually REFUSED to answer me without making another appointment! It would have taken her 1 minute to answer my question & there was hardly anyone in the waiting room. When I ask her to check my mom's blood pressure she gets mad saying "You guys need to make an appointment" She yelled at me once when I questioned her @ the $20 charge for a referral that literally took her 15 seconds to write!!! She is extremely ineffective but my mom doesn't like change insiting that God is her doctor.

I can’t believe the negative comments from a few people… I looked at the history of the person(s) who said negative things about this Doctor and her office and noticed it’s a trend. All negative everywhere. In Regards to asking a Dr to fill out paperwork.. evidence and approval letters are mandatory.. This Doc is just doing her job! My experience and everyone else that sees this Doctor knows she’s an amazing Doctor! She’s been very through and kind. Never once have I had a negative or bad experience. If anyone reads comments be sure to look at all the comments/reviews the person has done and it will give you a better idea of who the person Is. I highly recommend Dr. Amel , her staff and this office. I’m so Thankful for being a client of this office!

Went with my elderly mother to see the doctor. She's rude speaking to her computer not the patient. She does not follow up with seeking specialists and says to get another doctor if we don't like it. We have to seek specialists on our own then get her to refer. Even then it takes forever if you don't keep following up. No compassion in a rush to end the appointment.

I have been going to her for about a year now and my health has been declining which sucks for anyone but especially for a 21 year old and she has done everything to get me back to full health by sending me to the right people.
