Buyer Beware! Dr. Dunn's staff is the most disrespectful and unprofessional people I have ever encountered at a healthcare provider. Trying to conceive through alternative means is stressful and emotionally draining. However, the staff you have to interact with at Dr. Dunn's clinic will make it much worse. You will only see Dr. Dunn a few times. The majority of your office visits will be with his staff. From the front desk to the ultrasound nurses you will be treated like a second-class citizen, as if your presence is a major inconvenience to their day. The experience is the exact opposite of what you would expect from people that are supposed to be there to offer hope and compassion during your most trying times. You will have to call and hunt down a nurse to find out your test results and follow-up instructions. Most times you will have to leave a voicemail but they never call you back. They talk to you like school-yard bullies on the phone. Carmen the ultrasound nurse is downright rude, doesn't let you look at the ultrasound screen and is rough with the wand. She smells like cigarette She talks to you like you're an idiot. No one wants to help or seek help unless you give the same attitude back to them, which only makes the situation worse. Although Dr. Dunn is one of the most caring and compassionate care givers you will ever meet, you only interact with him about 10% of the time. The rest of the time you have to deal with the staff. I've been seeing Dr. Dunn off and on for about 10 years (with no success) and I can say that the level of service has declined horribly to the point that we are now going to another clinic and doctor. This review is based on my experience at the Fannin and Sugar Land offices.

We just went through our first cycle with ivf... we had no clue what we were doing or anything about it... we had a consultation with the doctor and felt like it went well and he seemed great!
Well after that it all went down hill... the lack of communication and organizational of the staff is extremely ridiculous... they never update you or inform you of what’s going on, unless you hunt them down, every time I called I had to leave a message... I never felt like I mattered as a patient there and never felt like things were explained to me clearly or in a timely manner. Also, be prepared that the doctor you pick may not even be the one that does your retrieval.
It took 10 days to update me on my embryos who didn’t even make it through blast day 3... I also contacted them several times asking for an update... for the amount of money, time, emotion and energy you put into ivf every patient deserves to be cared for and not just looked at as another number!

His staff is horrible.He can get who ever he wants,but keeps third rate unhelpful stagff.To save money.Lazy,incompetent staff who don't like to work.Doctor,can done of us help the staff for an hour a day if that's means someone is going to benefit from.it.? Go to the other doctors in the facility for this same reason.Or use some other fertilty facility,.

Dr. Dunn never gave up on us, although I was ready to give up a couple of times. He was knowledgeable, compassionate, and I always felt like I was in good hands with him. I am still on my journey but after 3 IVFs and 3 failed transfers, I am expecting! I owe it all to Dr. Dunn and his team.

Dr. Dunn is one of the most skilled and compassionate doctors I have ever met. He is the best in his field. My husband and I will forever be grateful to him for giving us an angel to add to our family. My baby would not be here if it weren't for him and his staff. Thank you so much, Dr. Dunn! Dr. Dunn is hands down the best doctor I've ever seen. My husband and I tried unsuccessfully to conceive for 5 years and were referred to Dr. Dunn. He is kind, very knowledgeable and very compassionate. Our first IVF implant was a success, but the baby did not have a heartbeat. Dr. Dunn was genuinely sorrowful and asked if he could give me a hug, which I tearfully and gladly accepted. His nurse Maria was on point, available and always quick with callbacks to respond to my numerous questions and fears. We ended up conceiving naturally after the first miscarriage, but I attribute our miracle baby girl in great part to the restart Dr. Dunn and staff gave my system.

We concluded our 10 years journey of trying to have a baby at Houston Fertility Specialists. Upon recommendation received from a family friend, we decided to meet with Dr. Randall Dunn, and he seemed such a warm, friendly and professional doctor right from the get go. We did a FET in 2014, with 100% success, but unfortunately, the twin pregnancy resulted in a miscarriage at about 20 weeks due to some infection.

Finally when we were on the verge of giving up, because we were so emotionally and financially drained in 10 years of trying, Dr. Dunn convinced us to give it one last try, and here...we now have a nearly 6 month old baby who lights up our lives.

No words will ever be good enough to thank Dr. Dunn and let you all know that after multiple failed IUI/IVF/FET cycles in Boston & Seattle, Dr. Dunn gave us a 100% success both times with FET. He is an amazing doctor and an amazing person as well.

Absolutely love Dr. Dunn! He is so kind and understanding to what a couple is going through during this tough time. The nurses and techs that we dealt with while seeing Dr. Dunn for 2 years were always the same, and they had been there 15, 16, 18 years and to me that speaks volumes about who they work for! Dr. Dunn and his staff (nurses and techs) raised the bar for all other doctors that come my way! Thank you for making my dreams come true and being not only professional but compassionate and getting me and my husbands sense of humor! You guys really are a class act!!
