He will do the minimum work, often seeking to take short cuts, but still charge full fees.
Cannot recommend him to anyone that cares about where their money is going.

We've been going here for 5 years. He's answered all my questions and concerns. The staff are very friend and always follow up with phone calls when we've had dental issues.

I regret using Dr.Wendell. I have been using him for 10 years, and he certainly has a good and painless technique, but he FARMS your teeth for the greatest return rather than trying to act in your best interest. I told him for 3 years about a painful tooth, but he dismissed my concerns and this ended in a root canal that still causes me discomfort and six weeks of pain since he left me with a split tooth over his July clinic closing. Again, I told him of concerns about a weak-walled molar, which he ignored, and twice in the following months I had to go in for broken walls on that same tooth. More pain for me, more profit for Wendell. I believe him to be an unethical dentist with a very false and smarmy manner.

Our whole family has grown up using Dr Wendell's services since we moved to Spruce Grove many years ago. Several of my family members have moved to other dentists and we are doing the same after work is having to be redone time and time again because something happened with the procedure. Other dentists reviewing his work have no idea why it wasn't done right the first time. And every time his office bills the full price over and over again. $$$$$ I work hard for my money not to have our family ripped off due to familiarity. Hate being taken advantage of.

Just recently I have found out that Dr. Wendell enjoys doing fillings and will do that even if this is not beneficial for the patient's teeth. This has come to my attention when I have had 4 fillings on one tooth in just over a year. Now if there is a repair needed I will have to have either a pin into the root canal or an implant. This would not have been necessary if a crown was done in the past. I would not recommend this dentist at all.

Dr Wendell and staff love what they do and make visiting painless. I love how he explains the work and is very patient with some of us (my hubby and kids) who don't typically do well in the dental chair. For those who think they had "way too much freezing", I suggest you try dental work with too little! As for the "monotone" comments, again, I wonder if you considered this might be intentional, in order to lower your stress. Read the stats: dentistry is one of the toughest professions out there. Face it, does anyone really like to go to the dentist (even if you handle it well)??? So, to sum up: Tough job and a wonderfully patient and calming staff. I am thankful these skilled people are willing enough to do it.

I went there to have a tooth checked he ended up pulling it without warning he put in too much freezing and gave a very mono tone commentary as to what he was doing. I was very dissatisfied with his services and will never use his services again. He wasted quite a bit of my time and wasn't as good a claimed to be

He is very polite but waste's lots of time way over freezes and doesn't deal with emergencies well at all. His staff have no idea what's going on and he over charges for basic services
