I left a review for this Doctor in June 2011. I was very mean only because I personally did not like him.
He is dead...Remove the man from your site please......

Best clinician I have ever worked with. His conscientious care of critically ill patients was a credit to the profession. He was instrumental in establishing a chemo clinic at SSRH and was very forward thinking and Watson the cutting edge of respirology. A great man to work with

I went to Dr. Atkinson with COPD and Asthma on the recommendation of 3 professionals in his field. He exceedingly helpful in reevaluating my health concerns, he is polite, interested and thorough - his expertise shines and I felt exceedingly fortunate to have seen him. Since my initial appointment and changes in drug therapy as prescribed by him I have experienced definite improvement in my pulmonary health. Dr. Atkinson has given me hope of a longer life - God bless him for his contribution to our health care.

Dr. Atkinson has a very high opinion of himself and has absolutely no bedside manner. He is arrogant and self-absorbed. I found his diagnostic skills sorely lacking and his disinterest in my health disheartening. I would not recommend him in any way to anyone.

Dr. Atkinson and his staff are not very compassionate or helpful. It is just a job to them. Bottom line she is going to die - so accept. The staff sat in the office while family helped with care.Dr. Atkinson just didn't seemed to care.

This doctor treated my mother for a rare lung condition which led to congestive heart failure which he failed to diagnose even while she sat is his office with legs so swollen she could barely stand and so full of fluid she could barely breathe. Then, later, as she lay dying in the hospital he diagnosed her as being depressed and recommended she see a therapist. I would never allow another member of my family to go see him!
