No advise of help given and i was sent on my way. Disgusting place. do not go to someone who does not care about his patients. clearly he is all about the money. when i client is sitting in pain, crying and he does absolutely NOTHING!!!!

Had my wisdom teeth taken out a month ago by Dr. Gusenbauer. Overall was a good experience. I was nervous about going in for the procedure, but the staff were kind and made the process as comfortable as possible! Unfortunately, I did lose feeling over a small area of my lip/mouth, but these things happen. To add to the drug discussion: I was prescribed T3. Although, I really found I didn't need it. I took one T3 in the evening after the procedure and that was all. An Advil a few times a day was more than enough for me. Cheers!

Unhelpful staff. No wifi available while you sit and wait an hour and a half. We have no insurane and had to pay an outrageous amount for the 5 min preappointment where things were barely explained. Dr was arrogant and avoided my questions. Hd ignored me. His patient's mother. The one who is paying him. His staff are rude too.

I also don't get all the negative reviews. He removed 2 impacted wisdom teeth for me at the hospital which were quite risky as the nerve was lying right underneath. I had no permanent numbness in my tongue or mouth which was actually expected. He did an amazing job and his staff is very kind and friendly. He explained everything clearly and concisely. He only sent me home from the hospital with advil because I can't tolerate codeine. I did find that a bit ridiculous and when I called him to request a prescription for the pain he wasn't incredibly thrilled. But aside from that he did a great job and was pleasant the other few times I saw him.

Had to get a cyst removed, said it would be fine in a few days. After almost 9 months I still have no sensation on that part of my mouth, my lip in that area is still numb. Definitely not going back, found another surgeon for wisdom teeth removal. Not recommended.

Both of my sons have had 4 wisdom teeth removed by this Dr. and This Dr. DOES NOT prescribe OXYCODONE he prescribes Tylenol #3 and his nurses strongly recommend not to use them to only use Advil, Motrin or Aleve which are all over the counter pain medications!!! My children both had a great experience...no swelling, minimal pain were eating solid foods the same day as the surgery! Dr Gusenbauer in my opinion is a very experienced surgeon as is his staff ! They work seamlessly together and would highly recommend πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ…πŸ˜

May 2019- This doctor is very negligent in his prescribing of pain medication. My 18 year old recently had wisdom teeth removed. He was sent home with a prescription for 40 Oxy Codeine. Who requires that much addictive medication? why would any doctor knowing the epidemic occuring in Ontario flippantly send home someone with that many narcotics. The medical profession needs to wake up, I truly think these doctors should get a hefty fine and thanmaybe we could use that money to open up more addiction centers considering they are contributing to the problem. Shame on you for doing this. If pain is that bad for a patient than they should return after three days for a review and be monitored more closely. Where is his accountability in this????? I would also say shame on the nurses working there, most were in the age range of 45 to 55 years old and should also know better this is disgusting and infuriating that these so called "professionals" are oblivious to what they are creating. We had three visits, the last one was useless and not necessary but at no time did anyone ask or explain the potential for addictions with this drug, nor did they inquire as to how many pills have been used to get through the pain.

October 2018. I absolutely hate this man! He recently removed four wisdom teeth for my son, supposedly under a general anesthetic which means he should have been unconscious and feeling no pain until the surgery was over. My son woke up during the surgery because he was not given sufficient anesthetic and he was not monitored well. As you can imagine this was a horrifying experience, most especially because he was not able to communicate his distress to Dr. Gusenbauer who just carried on removing the teeth, knowing that my son was not properly sedated. He offered no apology and his flippant explanations showed little or no empathy for the pain and distress he caused my son. I strongly suggest you find another surgeon. One who employs a qualified professional anesthesiologist focussed entirely on his/her role while the dental surgeon is focussed on removing the teeth. I gave Dr. Gusenbauer a low rating for punctuality, not because he lacks punctuality but because he is more concerned about keeping on schedule than with caring for his patients properly. Don't trust this guy with your kids!!!
