Dr H. Michael Lambert is an excellent diagnostician. I would prefer to switch to another equally accomplished doctor, though. He forces his patients to watch Fox News, playing loudly on large screen televisions in his waiting rooms. The staff are not allowed to turn the televisions off or change the channel. Since I do not normally watch television, I have no mental defenses and cannot simply ignore the television, but the alarmism and political bias of Fox News make the experience of waiting into a stressful and unpleasant one. This problem would be less important if Dr. Lambert were another kind of doctor, but one must spend a lot of time waiting for eyedrops to take effect before an eye exam. Having Dr. Lambert force his politics on me with no way to opt out makes me feel disrespected. Explaining the problem to him has no useful effect and appears to offend him. Dr. Lambert's forcing his patients to spend hours watching Fox News is not professional behavior.
