Dr. Schaeffer has been my pain management provider for nearly 14 years. He is an excellent pain management provider. He and his staff have walked me through some really tough times. I highly recommend him and CNY Spine and Pain Medicine.

Dr. Schaeffer and his staff at CNY Spine and Pain in Liverpool NY are the BEST! I finally found a doctors office that listens, cares and takes care of me. THANK YOU isn't enough.

I’ve been seeing Dr Schaeffer at CNY Spine & Pain for over a year now for severe neck and mid-back pain after trying to work with two other spine pain centers and he is head and shoulders above the rest. The first couple reasons is that he is a great listener and a great communicator, the rare guy who takes the time to listen to you and let you know what he can do for you while setting expectations for every step along the way, giving you a short term and long term plan and outlook.

The first part of my treatment was an epidural injection in the neck. The staff was outstanding prior to the procedure, but even better after the injection when I had a bad reaction to the contrast. They were incredible in taking care of me, putting me at ease and helping me relax and feel better. Their effort was over the top and I can’t say enough about how impressed I was & how grateful I am.

In addition to doing a great job in the examination room, Dr. Schaeffer and his staff are exceptional at working with the insurance company and with workers compensation. The staff here has been easily accessible and pleasant to deal with on the phone or in person. I didn’t have a lot of hope that I would find someone whom I could trust and who I believe will provide me with some pain relief prior to going here. I highly recommend CNY Spine and Pain and Dr. Martin Schaeffer.

Dr. Schaeffer is the best doctor I have seen. He listens, cares, is thorough and knowledgeable. Amazing to find a doctor who cares and takes time to truly help his patients!

Saw my primary doctor who sent me to a surgeon who recommended surgery. The saw dr schaeffer who diagnosd a difernt problem and after a couple of injections I was almost pain free in six months.

Do NOT go to Dr.Martin Schaeffer if you are in any pain. Before I saw the doctor, I filled out a questionnaire and one question was rank the level of your pain from 0 (least pain) to 10 (most pain). I gave it a 3 (mild discomfort). I had to wait for 1 hour and 40 minutes before seeing the doctor and by the time I saw him I was in excruciating pain from my sciatica from sitting and standing all that time. My BP had gone to levels I had NEVER experienced. Obviously Dr Schaeffer overbooks to extreme levels and is MUCH more interested in hauling in the $$$$$ than ANY concern he has for his patients and pain management. You might say he managed to put me in extreme pain which seems to be his philosophy of pain management. After leaving his office I was in pain for the rest of the day and that night. I repeat: do NOT see DR Martin Schaeffer if you are in any pain.
