Dr. O'Connor performed a double hip replacement on me March 2016. Six weeks later I was hiking in the Penticton area. Dr. O'Connor is a truly great surgeon and a kind human being. I am living life to the fullest because of his skill.

Without a doubt a True professional " Best in his class" I had a hip replacement 11 years ago and you could never tell. I walk like I did when I was 20. I would recommend anyone needing same to have Dr. O'Connor do it. He is the best.

An excellent surgeon who takes time to explain his view and listens to the patients carefully, he did my left knee surgery about 8 months back and I have no issues with that , now I am due for the right knee surgery. Very friendly and always smiling surgeon.

I've been a patient of Dr. O'Connor's for about 12 years. When I first saw him he took the time to fully explain my problem to me but wasn't quick to jump on the surgery bandwagon. When I needed it, he did the surgery and my results have been excellent. I'd be even better if I exercised more and dropped some weight, but that's not his fault. He also took care of me when I had a fall and fractured several bones at once. He'll tell you the truth, and he won't sugar coat it. If you're looking for a doctor who'll baby you, he's not your guy. Work with him and don't feel sorry for yourself. You'll get good results.

Doctor O'Connor replaced my left hip in 2014 and it feels great. I am amazed at how well I have healed. He is very reassuring and completely puts you at ease when describing the procedure.

I have a TKR three years ago, and Dr. O'Connor was professional and had fantastic bed-side manner; I was also impressed with his staff at the clinic and at the hospital.

My daughter required hip surgery summer of 2005 and Dr. O'Connor was assigned to due the surgery out of Royal Alec Hospital. She was just about 23 years old at the time and bone chips needed to be scraped off her hip joint. O'Connor said he would pull out the ball from the socket and scrape behind it to remove the chips and no cutting of ball socket was needed. His demeanour was mediocre prior to surgery and appalling after surgery when we approached him to get some better care for our daughters from the almost totally negligent nurses who were on staff summer of 2005. I can understand the need to cut the bone to better get at the joint to clean therefore change in procedure but to totally defend his nurses after surgery for negligent care not only of my daughter but another lady in the same room was appalling. He not only did NOTHING but told me to back off the nurses and then I had to threaten to pull my daughter out of the hospital before something was done about after surgery care
