Not a good doctor, does not follow up with referrals. Waiting 10 weeks to hear from his office. Can't get a new doctor because of doctor shortage.

At a loss for words! Worst Dr. I ever encountered, but stuck because of lack of family Drs in Chatham Kent. Doesn't follow thru with scripts and referrals. Heaven help the patients of this Dr.

Multiple times I’ve asked for a referral for things (such as mental health for example) 7 months will not go by with me calling trying to get a call back only to finally be told nothing was ever done and having to come back to finally get the referral. Always late with med refills. Apointments are always hours behind. One day showed up and they made me aware he decided to not come in that day they said they tried to “call me” but I had no missed calls. Very limited knowledge I’ve seen him google things on his phone right in front of me during the appointment. No knowledge what so ever on medications or affects. Refuses to let you see anybody else or do a different treatment plan then what he thinks might work. He honestly needs to lose his license.

This guy harms innocent people. I was forced to stay in hospital because he signed a form. I later realized he signed the name of another doctor on that form. He based his decision without even speaking to me. I said if there is any question with regards to my mental stability may I see the the evidence or be allowed to refute whatever accusations are put against me. I am a financially stable educated person. I cared for my mother and my autistic child. I have not harmed anyone or threatened any harm to anyone or myself. I asked why are you doing this to me. This man is absolutely a white racist associated with corrupt white racist police. It is apparent that he has serious mental issues that are harmful to those forced into his care.

He's really nice and probably reasonably smart but there has been concerns. When my 91 year old father-in -law brings meds in for a reorder, Dr. Hastings doesn't reorder them for him. He tells him to take them to his pharmacy where they apparently alert the doctor that they need reordering. This makes no sense and is an extra trip for the old man. What's the deal?

Never have I waited less than an hour for my scheduled appointments. He is always at least an hour behind schedule. Many times when I’ve had an appointment in the afternoon and not been seen till minutes before the office closes, when he then rushes me through my appointment and forgets to do what he discussed with me. Dr. Hastings is the best. We had all of our children delivered by him and when one of them had a issue he was right on top of it. I agree that is not very punctual and that could be improved upon, but many doctors are the same so I am willing to over look that.

When I was having issues, he cared enough to do as much as he could including sending me to a specialist in London, I think he is great and I hope he does not retire anytime soon.

Trying to get a colonoscopy referral Since My MAY appointment it is now July : I have been calling/ made a trip up there/ called the referral doctor and I am still waiting . Not my first colonoscopy have a family history and polyps removed : I am suppose to be followed for prevention ?What does 1 have to do JUST to get a referral ? A SIMPLE PHONE CALL ?

He has no knowledge whatsoever, doesn't even look at you, just recommends you to a specialist or prescribes you medication. He does not care how long you have to wait either as he is constantly talking to nurses/people he knows about things completely unrelated to patient care. Most of his staff are great, though.

I am wondering if he has any empathy as a health care provider. Went to emergency for an acute condition, this doctor was chitchat ting with lady nurses and not concerned at all who are waiting for him to see! Too bad for the community that a doctor like this available for service!
