Dr. Manjula Misra is a pleasing personality with a smile on her face. I had the pleasure of dealing with Dr. Misra to handle the cataract surgery of my wife. When I first visited her office I was thoroughly impressed by the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. The supporting staff were attentive and made my wife comfortable throughout the appointment. Dr. Misra is not only knowledgeable but also took the time to listen to my wife's concerns. On the day of surgery, Dr. Misra put my wife at ease and finished the surgery with excellent results. Dr. Misra is very skillful and her keen observations during the process were truly exceptional. Her attention to detail and expertise instilled confidence in me and my wife. I would highly recommend Dr. Misra to anyone considering cataract surgery. Dr Misra and staff very helpful and knowledgeable both in her office as well as staff at the Bowmanville hospital eye clinic. Yes the wait for my second cataract surgery was longer, but if it was my eye she was working on I would want her do what she had to regardless of time.
I would not hesitate to recommend her to any one and I can now sing that song 🎵I can see clearly now🎶🎵

Receptionist is very disrespectful, and sent my information to a family doctor I didn’t even know by mistake because she never asked to verify that information and assumed it was some random doctor. That has still never sat right with me as my information was sent to a random doctor and there was never any apology. Dr.misra was an okay ophthalmologist but didn’t even fix the issue and just referred me to a neurologist when I still have swelling in my eyes and now won’t see me again. However that is actually a blessing so now I can go to an ophthalmologist who can actually help. The rest of the staff in her office where lovely people however when the receptionist is as awful as she is (fully caused a panic attack just over the phone) she shouldn’t be working in such a sensitive environment like this. I hope other people experiences with this office will be better that mine, I was only a hospital referral so I’m not even sure why I was referred here as I very obviously didn’t have any Cataracs so maybe that’s why my treatment was so poor.

Dr Misra and her staff both at the Clinic and the Hospital were the best, kind, helpful, knowledgeable. At the hospital I was afraid of getting the procedure and the stafff and doctor put me at ease. She is the best Doctor i have had in years. I would tell everyone having work done on their eyes to contact this doctor if they can. I can not say enough good about her!!

I had my cataract surgery done Aug 4 and Aug 30 2022. My cataracts were so bad, especially in the left eye where I could only see green.
My vision now is amazing.
She and her staff are incredible and I recommend Dr Misra for this surgery.
My friends have gone to her with success stories like mine.
My quality of life is 100% again and I couldn't be more grateful to her and her stuff.
