This man is my biggest inspiration. He is everything I want to be when I grow up, and I genuinely miss him. He is incredibly smart, and he has such a good understanding of what someone is going through. Every day at CAPIS (child intake psychiatric program at Oakville Trafalger Hospital) I looked foreward to talking to him. He is genuinely amazing and I have never met anyone better than him. I would really like to see him work with some of his inpatient patients once they become outpatients, because all the psychiatrists ive seen as an outpatient suck compared to Dr. Brown. I clicked with Dr. Brown and found it super easy to talk to him about some of my struggles and he was so understanding and helpfull. Some times he did arrive up to 30 minutes late, but I did not mind at all, and it did not cut into our apointment time. I would gladly wait hours and days to speak with him again.

An incredible human being who cares for others. Anyone with psychiatric needs should see him.

I agree with the multiple level 5 comments on who he is and why he practices medicine.

The person who made the comment about him falling asleep should be seen by someone else. How rude.

This dude was great he made my stay at CAPIS a lot more bearable he listens and shows real interest in you and whatever you bring to the session he’s funny too but serious when he needs to be I’ve been admitted to capris 3 or 4 times but was only under his care once and quite frankly that was the only admission that actually helped I wish I could see him again

I don't know what we wold have done without Dr. Brown's care over the past years. Yes he runs late, but that is small price to pay to get the absolute best in care! I would gladly sit hours for him to be able to continue to see us.

One of the most compassionate and well rounded psychiatrist I have met. After all his years in practice he actively listens is compassionate. He explains all the Side affects and risks. I can’t speak more highly of the entire CAPIS team and the hospital. Social worker Sarah is exceptional.

Nice guy but he needs to retire now. Consistently late for appointments (sometimes up to an hour) and falls asleep during sessions. He's also getting careless with prescriptions.

Dr. Brown is an incredible man. He gave us our daughter back. We are so thankful for him.
