why should my group acknowledge this man after he mutilated our loved ones. Yes he was ok in his day we dont even blame him but he should have retired gracefully before he was incompetent and the higher powers should have seen to that

Let me first express my disgust to the comments/responses of "lynching" fashion. When you see stupidity like this, you can only appreciate the cowardly, alterior motives. More repulsive is the fact that some of it comes from within the profession..the very people working in this fine man's place! My experiences with this doctor have always been positive. He has provided care for many family members, as well as myself; including fixing a mess done by other doctors in the community..but I refuse to stoop to their cowardly tactics. He is very knowledgeable & always provided professional service; evident by his willingness to maintain current practices. My concerns were always addressed or referred properly. Although I left the community, I still continued to return for his services. For those people who want to blame him for their negative experiences, I can only wish you luck in your search for a "perfect" doctor(amoung all "practices")..because you must be perfect..but good luck anyway!

anyone wanting to speak out about this doctor should file a complaint with the college of physicians and surgeons let them know about the mistakes he has done to your loved ones please we have to keep him from doing it to our friends and families....i know you are out there

Are Dr,s God? Tell me which one has never made a mistake, Stop crucifying a man who has been here most of his life looking after people in ou community. I have worked with Dr. Irwin fron=m the time he came here and found him kindness itself and an excellent surgeon. Dr,s in the city and other areas will say " Why have you come here when you have the best in your area". Get a life our there. I,ll bet my bottom dollar you have a friend out there who hasn,t forgotton the good you have done

Are doctors Gods? No one man is perfect. There are many mistakes made and buried. I have worked in the Health Care Industry for many years beside this man in our hospital and found him to be nothing but professional. No one on this earth has never made a mistake or two. Leave this fine doctor alone and sweep off your own doorstep before you start on anyone else. From a friend.

It is time for Dr. Irwin to retire. He has made some bad mistakes in the last couple of years, one of which has led to a young woman with children dying of cancer he said was gone. His operating room privileges have been suspended - which says a lot. He's been at it for a long time, now it's time for him to do something different where he can't affect people's lives.
