Dr. Avezano is very smart. The emergency room was really busy. He was able to tell my mother what was wrong with her in 1 visit, after months of seeing different doctors and not getting any answers. He was sent by God that day! Now she has been able to get the right follow up care and is doing really good.

If you have been diagnosed with any form of Porphyria, do not see this man; if you do end up with him be prepared for a LONG wait for treatment, if you get any at all. According to him you could not possibly have Porphyria because he does not believe it is a real disease.
