I first went to Dr. Walters in 2011 and was unimpressed. He was supposed to get me a referral for a cyst and after 3 weeks I had to call his office and ask for it again. The second time I went was for my ankle. He said he would give me a referral for PT, but again, it never came. Most recently I needed a refill for my medication and after his office had the request for over 3 days I called them & the receptionist was very rude & unhelpful. After multiple phone calls to his office & my pharmacy I informed his office that he just lost a patient.

Joe Walters was my doctor for eight years while I was in good health. Seven years ago, I was in crisis and Joe mis-diagnosed me. I had serious infections from mexico and Joe decided that he knew better. He diagnosed me as DOP, that means Delusions. He did this without the benefit of any tests whatsoever even though I asked for tests many times. Not only would Joe not help me, but he saw to it that I could not get help from any other doctor. Joe told me he could not help me and to see a dermatologist. His admin came into the examination room telling me her opinions and demanding that I tell her which doctor I planned to see. She called the dermatologist and told him that I did not have parasitic infections. When I saw the derm, he would not run tests either. The infections got so bad that now I have nerological problems, problems with my vision and my memory. I could not work for six years. Joe ruined my life. My nine year old has spent most of his life watcing me suffer bacause of Joe.

This was the worst office and Dr. I've ever been to. His receptionist totally ignored me when I walked in, even when I left the co-pay on the counter. This happened twice. The Dr is very arrogant, and not in most of the time. I asked for a refill on one of my prescriptions, and it took 3 days for them to fax it in. They make you feel like you are inconveniencing them. I would never recommend this office/Dr.
