This office is a nightmare do not sign up ! Staff are beyond rude and racist to me I never been treated the worst by anybody else for just being a patient on the phone . something not right there anymore dr Forbes too old and too forgetful to help anybody he just there to mingle make money and keep the white witches employed , for real !

I have been a patient for 12 years and I have found over the last couple of years there has been a huge decline in care. Alicia needs to retire. She is incredibly rude and I'm so tired of dealing with her. Zero compassion. Why are you in this field if you are clueless on how to speak to people. It's time Dr. Forbes retires and sell the practice to someone much younger and more knowledgeable and up-to-date! I had to ask for blood work to see if any of my meds were affecting my liver function and once I got the results back I noticed instead of asking for that test he ticked off thyroid! This is absolutely infuriating! Now i have to go back and get the blood work done again! His hours are insane now. It use to be you could get in the same week but now, a month!!! Are you kidding me!!! I explained I was in pain all the time and having a hard time walking and still a month wait time. This is simply unacceptable for anyone to have to wait that long to get in to see your Dr. Why are you even still practicing if you can't even see your patients? And since Covid, totally downhill from there too. Before you could talk to him but now as many other people have mentioned as your talking he gets up and stands at the door. That is so rude on so many different levels. I'm telling you my concerns and you have obviously stopped listening and now focused on the next patient. Inexcusable. I could complain about so many things and how horrible Alicia is but my best advice is find a new Dr. Plain and simple.

I can’t believe the comments I’m reading about Dr.Forbes. When I was living in Brampton he was my family doctor & he was amazing. Come to Newfoundland we need a great doctor like yourself 😊

Dr. Forbes has been my doctor since birth ... he been amazing through my mom illness (ALS) and me getting diabetes. The staff are amazing and do what they can for patients. You are see bad reviews because people are expecting magic sorry he begin serivcing in brampton for over 40 years and never seen one his patients complain about him. Its seems like if you dont get your way of course your going to give a bad review. Sometimes you have to wait for him but i mean if patients are on tim he wouldn't be late. Yes he older and may retire soon but get him if you can.

Should retire at this point in his life.
My mom is addicted to oxy for her back Pain. He believes opioids are the solution. It’s 2019 get with the times or leave the field.
Never on time , can’t write out a simple prescription . I had abdominal pain for 5 years he never thought to give me a ultrasound until I demanded one and what do you know I had gall stones. He spend 5 mins each patient and you pay 20 for a doctors note
Unbelievable. Just not right. At some point you need to stop being selfish and stop practicing medicine.

Never gives a dam about your blood work if anything is wrong with it. I have to call up for it and than find out that there is something going on with my body. Secretary is rude, dr. forbes comes in late and waiting time is horrible, doesn't even let you finish telling him about your problems and he will stand at the door even if you are still talking. He gives his ipad to write 5 star reviews from older patients and those that have been going to him over 20-25 yrs and also who gets free sample medications from him. He is so money minded and charges for every little thing.

I worked there so unfortunate to see these comments about his remaining staff one of the major reasons I quit. Dr Forbes needs to open his eyes his remaining employees will destroy his good name and his patients.

He one of the most caring doctor in Brampton. If he is not sure he does not fool around.
He will send you to a specialist.

This comment is going to be long. First of all about his polish rude secretary who doesn’t know to to talk, keep you hanging on purpose and than disconnecting the phone line. The other secretary Susie who advices to change to another doctor if I have complaints about Dr Forbes. Second of all he charges for every little thing .....he should be audited for all the money he gets from his patient. I’m sure he doesn’t show cash earned in his tax return. How greed he can get. Third of all references are lost from his office and I had to wait for a call from a specialist for all 2 yrs till I investigated about it. Almost two years I suffered my condition. Every time I call I was told that specialist appointments take a long time. Fourth of all, waiting time. He comes late in the morning when his first appointment is 730am. Than wait in the office to at least 45 mins to 1 hour for your appointment. Fifth of all, he will spend 4 to 5 mins with you and will stand up even if you are still talking. He will be standing near the door when you haven’t finished talking. Wow what a doctor and people have spend 15 and 25 yrs with this behaviour. Does anybody else been treated like this.? Is Changing the doctor the only solution to this kind of altitude . Can anybody else relate to this problem.

I had been a patient with Dr Forbes for a long time. I had not been to see him in about 5 years. So i was dropped as a patient. I recieved no notification of this and i thought some important documents were being forwarded to him . Seems they werent.
I liked Dr Forbes as a person and as a doctor. However his front desk staff, particularity the Polish lady i believe, is a nightmare to deal with. No personal skills, phone skills and just plain frustrating to deal with.
The fact i wasnt contacted to say i was being released as a patient was beyond me and very frustrating. I hope they can have someone better serve that office.
