In 2019, I believe Dr. Yip saved my life. I will continue to monitor my health but do not expect to hear any bad news. Wonderful outcome.

Saw Dr Yip for a colonoscopy. He was punctual, caring yet very professional. He explained everything to me as the procedure was underway. Post procedure called me at home with a very thorough report about what his findings were after the biopsies were received

I cannot understand the negative comments about this doctor. I find him caring compassionate and very knowledgeable. When I was rushed in to Saint Boniface hospital he cared for me and when he released me he called me at home to make sure I was still doing well.. I cannot say enough good things about this man.

Very caring. Goes above and beyond his job. He sent me for CT for Diverticulitis- which revealed an unknown mass in my breast. Other Drs. Might not have addressed this issue. Thanks to Dr. Yip my Breast Cancer was found and removed. If not for Dr. Yip- my Breast Cancer would not have been discovered and I would not be a Breast Cancer Survivor. So grateful!

Having seen how or lack there of of his treatment of my wife over the year, Dr.YIP has proven to be a very poor Dr, of Surgery. ( as he will find any EXCUSE to NOT do a surgery, ) and is just a person whom ,will take your appt, not listen to any concerns you may and tells you , make another appt, and we can discuss your concerns in another month? It would appear he is in it to just collect a paycheque, NON DESERVING I MIGHT ADD, AS HE AVOIDS DOING ANY SURGERY , Perhaps he Simply cant do it anymore.

Dr Yip says I have external thrombose hemorrhoid phenomena, Something I've been dealing with since a little kid and when they come it is excruciatingly painful. He say's there's nothing to do and a hemorrhoidectomy would just cause more pian. I clearly said to him this is a small one and I came back from being in edmonton for 6 months with my dying mother in law. He wrote my doctor a disparaging letter saying " kind of interesting per say " and acting like that small hemorrhoid is what I deal with. Clearly he has no clue what kind of pain this thing can cause and is lucky he doesn't have to deal with it.

Dr Yip doesn’t has very poor staff and they do not keep the family updated at all. Never explained the procedure to my husband at all and if I had not had a colonoscopy myself my husband would have been very panicked otherwise. The lack of communication and failure to fill out the paperwork in case of an emergency is deplorable. Half filled out paperwork is purely lazy and shows his total lack of respect for my husband. I fully will share this with my family dr as I wouldn’t wish this upon anyone

Dr.Yip is very rushed and does not give the time to answer questions ..Maybe he should consider what the patient is going through and try to be more helpful..Seems all is he wants is come back in a month to make more money on patients returning to see him .He was not helpful at all and what he said was totally inaccurate and now have to back and go through this whole fiasco again..Did nothing to help me out at all and just said make another appt and off he went
