Dr. A is compassionate, empathetic and makes patients feel special. She has excellent diagnostic skills, a clear communication style, and the ability to translate complex medical information into layman's terms. She advocates for her patients aggressively (with insurance companies & specialists alike). She encourages patients and families to be involved in their care, and follows up regarding treatment either via phone, email or written letters. She treats patients holistically, and firmly believes in mind/body/family connections. She is extremely personable, and sets a good example for her patients in her own healthy lifestyle choices. She teaches and evaluates residents and medical students and shares her expertise in both the art and science of medicine. Her patients are lucky to have her as their PCP.
