Took me through a major trauma in my life ...even showed up at my home when paramedics called him at the time of this traumatic experience...followed me through with counselling once a week for 2 years...he is the most human dr. I know ...he is caring , compassionate and takes his time with you ...you do NOT walk out with a prescription each time you enter his office....He still follows up on me closely and regularly and some of my family members as well ………He will also tell you the way it is truthfully …..but also knows when to be tactful with grace !!.You are nothing but the best Hauk !!!! ...well worth the waiting room wait LOL Wish you could dr. forever !!

Hawk has been my doctor since 1982, he helped me through 3 pregnancies and 3 deliveries and then took care of us all! In addition he is still my parents doctor and is good with them despite reading another comment about not liking/caring for the elderly. I moved out of the area 20 years ago and without hesitation, he took me back on 3 years ago when I got a job in the area. He's the most down to earth doctor I've ever dealt with and I have no doubt he will retire before I'm ready for him to.

This a great doctor that we have been with for 16 years . I would recommend him to anyone but I guess he isn't taking patients. We have nothing but respect for this man. We sure hope he doesn't retire too soon.

He is open minded but can be a bit of an jerk when in the mood but then can't we all? I find he is compassionate more times but also has a tendacy to think people are taking ailments and then puts off running important tests

Left patients high and dry, both my parents have been on opiate narcotics for 10 years and are left with nothing and no doctor around that will help them. He won't refer us to anyone else and help them find someone who can continue the care that worked. We've tried everything else surgery, chiropractor and injections, dilaudid was the only thing that let them have normal lives and now they cannot work. No consideration to the patients in which he put in the position.

Dr. Haukioja has been my family doctor since I was born. Has an exceptional personality and great humor. Has always taken the time to listen to my problems and talk about different options. If he isn't able to help he definitely will refer you to the right person!

Dr takes time to not only diagnose you but to ask how your life is going. He never rushes you in and out. He is a caring person. I trust him and his opinions fully.
