Staff was decent at best but nothing spectacular. Dr. Layton should seriously consider taking more courses as he seriously lacks professionalism and all he seems to care about is my wallet rather than my health or well-being. Well done

*Don't go to this Dentist* This is what happened to me couple of years ago. I went to Dr. Layton because I my dentist was away on vacation and his backup broke his arm. I my tooth broke in half due to an accident, and I needed to see someone ASAP. I wish I never booked a appointment with him. When he examined me he state normally such a case most dentist would refer to a Oral Surgeon. While he was examining me he was eating food and I swear a crumb fell in my mouth. I should have left then. He proceeded to remove the tooth which was fine. He then called another dentist to see what to do next. This got me scared. He advised him to do a bone graph to fill the open space . He proceed to do this by filling the space with bone graph tissue while the other dentist gave him instructions. He used cotton to cover and advised I had to keep it dry for 48 hours. I asked how this could be done without eating or drinking during that time. He asked me to try. Of course this was impossible and he attempted this two more times with last attempt user a gum guard bought from drug store down the street. Only 25% of material stayed which he said was alright. A Throat and Nose specialist would later say this cause partial collapse of my nasal cavity. Back to the treatment. He then took x-rays and stated some of my side tooth fillings were coming loose. He then booked an appointment to remove and replace some of these fillings. My dental plan did not have enough money so he only did 4 of 8 side fillings he wanted. Not long after this all 4 of these filling all fell out. Lucky my normal dentist returned. I had him fix the fillings that fell out. I asked my dentist and he said there was nothing wrong with the 4 he didn't touch. As for the 4 he put in he refused to criticize him stating all dentist interpret things differently. I interpret this as a money grab. It is couple of year later and I still have those side teeth filling he wanted to remove and stated they were ready to fall out. My new dentist who replaced my retiring dentist said these fillings would probably last another 12-15 years.

Super kind dentist! all of the staff are also really friendly. explains very thoroughly the treatment and makes sure you understand. I am a nervous patient, but I felt at such ease with him! Will return, and refer him to my friends/family.

I saw Dr. Layton for my first visit today. He did the most thorough examination I have ever had (and I've seen dozens of dentists) and even showed me pictures of exactly what he saw. He found only minor problems, but still presented me with a number of options for my price range. Everyone was very professional and pleasant and even the insurance billing was easy. I would highly recommend Urban Oasis and Dr. Layton.

I have been a patient here for 3 years now. I am always impressed with the service, and the girl who cleans my teeth is so kind! Only downside is they are becoming more busy, wish I could keep them a secret!

I made an appointment to see Dr. Layton's associate (my regular dentist), but I was surprised when the dentist arrived in the room it was Dr. Layton (in a mask). He did not introduce himself or explain why he was seeing me in place of my regular dentist. He seemed rushed and was very abrupt with his assistant, which made me uncomfortable. I found him unpleasant to speak with. While working in my mouth he burnt my cheek with a hot dental drill, and when I stopped him and explained the drill was hot, he responded with "oh" rather than any apology. Most surprising was to receive from my insurance company after almost 3 months' delay a notice that Dr. Layton had tried to charge them for a service he did not perform on me, on a date when I was not in his office. His staff maintained the charge was warranted (doubtful) but waved it. I will not use this dentist again.

Excellent service! Dr. Layton is awesome because you can immediately tell that he takes great pride in what he does and wants to ensure his work is quality! Definitely recommend urban oasis!

The thing I like most about Dr.Layton is that he is upfront honest. He tells you want you need done and never tries to push anything you don't need. Its hard to find that in a dentist.

Dr.Layton is a great dentist! He has always been very kind to me, and likes to joke around. I have noticed great improvement to his office with new front end staff. They are very informative and helpful! I have recommended everyone I know to go see him!
