I also had a bad experience with Dr. Gilder. I was sent to her after my MRI
had 20-30 brain lesions and both the radiologist and my neuro said I have MS. When I saw Dr. Gilder the very first thing she said as she walked in the door was "just because you have brain lesions doesn't mean you have MS". But, much to my surprise, I found out that she hadn't even looked at my MRI or report yet. She did that in front of me for the first time and she literally took 30 seconds to look through it. When she asked about my symptoms, it felt like an interrogation and she got annoyed when I had to check my notes (because my memory is completely gone). During the physical exam there were moments where I could not push against her but she kept demanding me to do so like I was faking it. She ordered more tests and sent me on my way. She had waffled so much saying I couldn't possibly have MS one second then saying it sounded like I had it the next that I just left the appointment extremely confused.
