He was my Family Doctor for years. I found a number of people who didn't have good reviews, but he is good. He is honest and not afraid to hurt your feelings if he thinks that you need to hear a hard truth. He was amazing with my kids because he doesn't put up with their crap. He never babied them. He told them what they needed to hear. If I have to choose between bedside manner and knowledge, I would say he's perfect. And if you actually heed his advice and take care of your health, his bedside manner is perfect as well. Too many people go to the Doctor to hear what they want to hear, not what they need to hear. 🙉

While I was living in the Peace Country, Dr. Spruyt was our family doctor. I found him to be a kind and caring practitioner, as well as knowledgeable. He was forthright, and to the point, which I found refreshing. He had such a great sense of humour, and am pleased he was my doctor. Thank you for being such a honest and caring physician.

Nothing nice to say. Simply knowing a dr for years does not make you like him. Every time I see him he tried to force his ketoe diet on me. Last time I was there to refill my birth control and he gave me a lecture about how "I'm getting old and my prime child baring years are behind me already" and said he doesn't want to refill it because of that... Just fill the prescription, I wasn't there for a lecture about whether I should have children or not. I'm there for birth control refill.

This man is horrible to deal with , he has no patience for children , hallers and scares them. His bedside manner is so poor. He needs to retire.

Excellent and knowledgable doctor. If you dont like being hit between they eyes with the truth than move on to the next doctor. He isnt saying what he says to offend you. He is saying it with your best interests in mind. He was very thorough with testing. Spent the time needed to ask the questions he needed to and make a diagnosis. At the end he asked me if I was stupid for smoking cigars in the summer time and gave his spiel about how we need to make good choices and take care of our bodies because one day we'll be 75 years old. I appreciate the honesty and frankly probably needed to be hit between the eyes
