I rarely go to the Dr and have for the most part I have been able to stay healthy. Over the past year I was experiencing pain and a lot of discomfort. Even though this was my first time seeing Dr Hutchings, since she took over my previous Dr's practice, she took the time to check my past records and looked into all the possible causes, was able to get me a referral and tests that have pinpointed the cause. Now with medication and a few follow up appointments I am on the mend and very greatly for her professional help.

Moved over to Dr. Hutchings when my GP, L.V. Solomon retired. I was with Dr. Solomon for 40 years, since I was a little girl. When Sean started with the practice, I started to see him for my primary care and for that of my new born daughter. We chose this practice over my husbands GP, as his level of care was superior, and I am forever grateful for ALL of his expertise and the tremendous amount of time he gave at each visit. I always left feeling cared about. Recently I visited Dr Hutchings for a couple issues I'm having with pain in my foot, and for a wart that my daughter has. We were both advised to see a chiropodist. My claim with benefits is denied unless I produce a referral. This office will not provide me with a referral without me paying for it first... since when is a referral to another specialty required to be paid for by a patient? I also asked for a renewed note for the recommended massages for my headaches and back pain that was originally provided by Dr. Solomon then by Sean. Again, I must pay for this. Sooo disappointing. I never had to pay for any of these things when I was with Dr. Solomon and Sean. They just understood and responded to the needs of the patient. Maybe because we are "new" patients to Dr. Hutchings, we just are not seen the same way. On top of this, I'm making regular calls to the office staff, as they just don't call back when they tell me they will. When arranging for these referrals I was told by the nurse I needed to make an apt, but there was nothing available for one month. Again, one month to see my doctor?? Really? If I knew where Sean was, I would move over to that practice. Seems to me that a doctor who can not see patients for a month has a caseload that might be too big, on top of requiring payment for EVERYTHING! Cash grab disguised as medical care?? Maybe.

The office staff is lovely - I was passed over to Dr Hutchings as my family MD retired. In one year I have been misdiagnosed - have appointments made with specialists that are NOT needed - reports read incorrectly - very unprofessional setting in office. Ive never felt like she read my file before I walked in - never follows through on the actual care I request - I am switching asap

Dr Hutchings has been my doctor for a short time (since september) but i have been with Dr Leslie solomons practise for years. The staff are wonderful and accomodating. Shawn and Camilla are very great and compassionate. Dr Hutchings does not rush you and is very personable. We are lucky to have this team as our family doctor.

I have had Dr. Hutchings as my family doctor since she has come to Stayner Medical Centre. I am extremely happy to have her as my doctor. She is very caring and compassionate. I wish that I had her Memory she doesnt forget anything. She seems to have the ability to look into me, I will go into see her often with a list she will take care of that and then comes the question it can sometimes just be "Ok now whats really Bothering You" and then she listens.

I saw Dr. Hutchings yesterday on a recommendation from my surgeon. She was extremely compassionate and spent all the time that I needed to fully explain my condition and what I can expect going forward. She also put me in touch with other professionals that I will need through this journey. If I did not already have a family Doctor, I would be requested Dr Hutchings.

Dr Hutchings, is very caring and compassionate. I feel that she always listens and looks for the best treatment available. With a recent health concern she took the time necessary for me to understand my best options and has walked through the treatment with me. I would highly recommend her.

Change doctors now! Never listened to concerns about my father's progress while in hospital for two weeks prior to death from congestive heart failure. Told him he was fine one day before massive heart attack. Kinda hard to miss....
