Billing is a nightmare. Insurance? They know nothing about it.

Office Manager Linda worst customers service ever. Tried to tell her they billed wrong policy # and she got angry and yelled at me and my husband and threatened us personally. Was just trying to get them paid and give them new policy # (3rd time) and she went nuts on us. Worst experience with anyone in customer service ever. Hope Dr. Schwimmer figures it out.

Dr. Schwimmer never took the time to inform me about my condition make me informed and comfortable with the treatment. Trying to retrieve my medical information after procedures were done was also difficult. The office staff particularly the office manager seemed bothered by having to serve the patients and help them understand the process and/or conditions and anything else needed. Although the doctor Schimmer may be very knowledgeable I was unable to receive the information needed to understand my condition completely so I do not have exact experience to his knowledge

I showed up 5 minutes late to my apt time and was treated horribly. His staff was openly rude. When inquiring for help I was addressed with attitude and annoyance. All this over 5 min.

I was surprised to see a rating for Dr. Schwimmer that was less than a 5 in any category. My husband has been to him and I have been to see him on four occasions. His office is very efficient. he spent an inordinate amount of time for me on each of my visits, fully explaining a procedure I would be having if that was the case, and not performing unnecessary procedures when another doctor might have suggested that. He is very cordial and puts you completely at ease. He seems to have a good read on people and on what tone to take to put them at ease. He is extrememly knowledgeable in my estimation, having knowledge of whatever medications you may have been on and whatever procedures you may have had in prior years; this all comes into play as he explains whatever procedure you may be undergoing. The background questionnaire that he has you fill out is very detailed, leaving no question that he knows all your medical history. I feel very comfortable recommending him.

I was very pleased with my initial visit. Took the time to explain things in lay mans terms. Talked to me as an equal and not at me or down to me. He gave me one prescription and did not agree with an unnecessary procedure my other gastro was going to put me through.

If you are under the age of 30 yrs avoid this doctor at all costs or be prepared to hear, "We don't want to know what's wrong with you." I had being having issues for over 1.5 years before seeing this doctor and wanted answers. After 2 offices visits and zero tests, I was still at square one.
