I was suffering with a hiatus hernia & gastritis for a solid year. My complaints about the pain & ability to eat were being dismissed. Even after a not so good endoscope review I was given pills that did nothing. Finally I got an appointment with Dr Batah. What a nice man! Very polite & he listened. We tried one treatment & it didn't work but then he sent me to a dietitian for the FODMAP diet. He determined that my I BS was out of & causing the problem. I am 98% better now!! He knew my history before he may with me for the first time because he took the time to read it. Very knowledgeable. Never more than a few minutes wait. Kind, soft spoken & patient. Im so thankful I found him!

Dr. Batah was only interested in getting me out of the office. I was severe stomach pains and was unable to eat. Dr. Batah performed an endoscopy and colonoscopy, and determined "nothing was wrong". When I told him that I was still unable to eat, and what the next step would be, he told me, literally, "Don't worry about it" and told me to return in six months. Don't worry that I can't eat??!?! Rest assured, I won't return in 6 months, or EVER, to this guy.
