Doctor Chiu is good, but one of the receptionist, who can also speak in Cantonese, has a very rude attitude. She never show good patience to client and you can't hear any emotion in her voice.

Dr. Chiu provides exceptional healthcare service to both of my parents over decades, he is very knowledgeable and responsible. He follows up and advices on each blood test, X-ray, ultrasound result. I find his prescriptions of drugs are very effective, my mum's coughing symptom is cured within the prescribed dose. Moreover, Dr. Chiu's referral to specialist is prompt, never delay any treatment. We are thankful to have Dr. Chiu who is capable of multi-lingual communication, always friendly and respectful with senior patients. Highly recommended to everyone.

Keeps bringing up billing, and that because the appointment was not billed, he didn't have time for me.

5yr+ patient here. Dr.Chiu has no respect for patient's time and only gives as much advice as the questions you ask. Most memories of visits are: booking an appointment, taking time off of work, goes in for two words on things I already tried. Recently it's become frustrating how much time it's wasted, when a few words on the phone would have sufficed.

Chiu is completely negligent towards patients. He will ensure treatment of any condition is delayed to maximize patient visits.

he is terrible, and the worst doctor in the world, never care about patient, after waiting for 40 minutes, talk one sentence, let me go. if there is 0 star, I will give him.

Switching family doctors after 10+ years. Had a confirmed viral infection diagnosis from another doctor before seeing him. Dr.Chiu was very unpunctual, and as always, there is always a 30min to 1hr delay AFTER the appointed time, where as I was able to see the first doctor on a drop in basis, after 5 minutes despite over 10+ people lining up at his clinic. Anyways, after waiting for 50 minutes Dr. Chiu I was prescribed antibiotics even though there were no signs of a bacterial followup for my viral infection (as diagnosed by the first doc)??? I will not be filling his prescription at all. Thanks for wasting half of my day.

I have actually been with Dr. Chiu for 20+ years. He's been my family doctor ever since I was a child and I am finally switching family doctors, so felt I should write a helpful review. I would not recommend Dr. Chiu to anyone. It is evident with Dr. Chiu that his main concern is money. Through my years with him, he wants to charge additional for anything possible - such as doctor notes and prescriptions renewals. Even though I've been on the same prescription for the last 10 years with no changes or risks, he refuses to let the pharmacy renew it and makes me come in every several months to renew it. If he actually was being diligent and wanted to follow up with my health, I would be more understanding but instead I'm forced to come in to his office so he can get paid, I wait for an hour after my appt time, and then he says 2 words to me and prints and signs my prescription. Such a waste of time for all parties involved and no consideration towards patients whatsoever. I prefer straight forwardness and efficiency, but Dr. Chiu has never provided me with any insight into my health for any of the years I have gone to him. Walk in clinic doctors have actually always impressed me relative to him because they seem much more knowledgeable and actually try to treat you.

Dr. Chiu seems disinterested in your health issues. He just sits behind his computer and will not look you in the eye while speaking to you. He makes me feel uncomfortable and it appears he just wants to write you a prescription so you will leave without examining you.
