When I went to my family doctor with a lump in my breast he set up an appointment for a Mammogram and then sent me to see Dr. You, who was supposed to be a specialist. Dr. You examined the lump and said it was nothing, just a mass left over from my Menstrual cycle. He said I may as well go and have the mammogram done because my doctor booked it, but he thought it was a waste of time. I had the mammogram and a biopsy done and the results were sent to him. He called me at home and told me over the phone that the results were Cancer and that he would set me up with breast Surgeon but that he would not be looking after me. I was so angry that he was so cold and didn't seem to care. I can't help thinking that if my family doctor hadn't booked ahead for the mammogram I may not have survived. Dr You would have chosen to let it go and do nothing.
