Dr. Joubran comes to my town once a week to do precedures, and I have to see him once a year. For my first visit with him he talked to me for about 2 minutes, then left. When I woke up it was the Anastasiaologist that explained to me what they found, the a week later a nurse from Casper called to tell me I have Barretts Disease. I wasn't told any more info than that, and that I have a life time presciption for prelisec. I had to google the disease to know more about it. To this day, the Anastasiaologist acts more like my Dr. Than him. Let me make clean that the staff I love so much is in my town @ Sheridan surgical center, not Casper!

Dr. Joubran is very personable. My esophagus was closing shut and other doctors kept telling me it was just acid reflux. He gave me credit for knowing my own body when I said things were getting stuck. He worked from there. He always asks how I'm doing and if I have any questions clear up to when the procedure begins. He always talks to me after the procedure even though I won't remember anything.

Dr. Joubran was very helpful, compassionate and knowledgable. He spent time with my mother in his office and also during her stay in the hospital. He listened attentively to all our concerns and worries. On the night of my mother's ERCP he found troubling results and spent almost an hour with me (daughter) going over his findings and possible out comes. He was not hurried and showed a great amount of compassion.

I wish I could rate Dr. Jourban but he did not meet me at my initial appointment, refused to speak with me before my procedure and refused to speak to me after my procedure. I demanded to speak with him after my procedure as I had some questions and the nurse told me "no, you will not remember what he says". I was stunned! I will never see this Dr. again or go to Casper Surgical Center. They pratically threw me out when I was awake. It was the most bizarre experience of my life. I felt I was on an assembly line and was a procedure, not a patient. I am a professional myself and I could NEVER treat another person the way I was treated. I went home with my questions unanswered and my fears still in place. I'm speechless.

I was very impressed with his listening and understanding of my problems. He did not pooh-pooh my symptoms or my knowledge of what is wrong with me

I went to Dr.Joubran for stomach problems, he had me come in for a colonoscopy and Endscopy. For the first 1st visit and I waited for an hour including waiting room and once they put me in the room. He spent a total of 3 mins with me and pawned me off on his staff for the rest. On the day of the procedure it was supposed to take about 45 mins for each I was told. He did them both in under 45 mins. He talked to me after the procedure but I didnt know cuz i was still under anestesia. He never called to see how I was doing like he said he would, he only did 5 biopsies but told me he was going to do more. He found several ulcers during the procedure but didnt biopsy any of those. After the procedure was all done his nurse did call a few days later to tell me I need to come in for a ultra sound on my gall bladder. I refused for a 2nd opinion from a doctor that will actually spend some time with me.

This Doctor let me go without a diagnosis, and told me to stop drinking wine. That was it. I had PAIN all the time and tried to explain to him that I had had the problem since 1972, but he did not listen. He just sent me on my still sick way. A year later, I wrote to a new doctor,j explained all the symptoms, and saw him on the following Thursday after he received my letter, and was in the hospital Friday, and had my gall bladder removed! Almost all of the pain was gone!!!! This man and all of the other ones that looked at me, including the Mayo clinic in Arizona, did nothing. In less than a week I am so very thankful that I found this Doctor. Thank GOD.....he saved my life. The others left me out to die. I will post on them as well.
