We had our son circumcised by Dr. Engel. Amazing doctor! Great with babies, very understanding and knowledgeable. He is funny, yet compassionate, and loving.

Amazing Dr. Great with kids AND great with parents! He's kind, funny, and caring. The front desk people could be nicer but, they're not horrible. I'd give the front desk a 4 star but Dr. Engle makes up for any of their grumpiness or impatience.

I believe his last name should be Angel! He performed our sons Circumcision recently with care, professionalism and humour. I usually do not review doctors but I had to make an exception and complete this one. Dr. Engel is one of a kind which is hard to find these days. He has the hands of an Angel and a heart that I cannot describe. A huge thank you to and your team!

Dr. Engel has been our pediatrician for 14 years now and is such an excellent doctor and is so kind to the kids. The only issue is that his office needs a better reception. Whenever I call in there is either no answer and it goes to voicemail or I am put on hold for 10+ minutes...

Dr. Engel performed circumcision on our son. We was professional, caring and punctual. We couldn't hope for a better treatment.

I absolutely love Dr.Engle, he is awesome. He's old school, honest, caring and funny. He listens and let's you speak your mind/cares/concerns. He went on holidays and I got stuck with an AWFUL doctor from the same office (Dr.Ismail) who was just horrible. I decided to come write a review for Dr.Engle because I never realized how great he was until he went on holidays!!! Please come back!! Lol He's great no complaints.

It's truly unfortunate that the state of Dr Engel's practice has depreciated to this point. It is absolutely impossible to call and get reception. Almost every time, you're forced to leave a message (if their voicemail isn't already full) then wait anywhere from 24 hours to never for a call back. If you ARE lucky enough to get to speak to a human being and make an appointment, expect to be waiting at least 45 minutes later than your scheduled time. This was never the case when Sandra still worked with Dr Engel, and it's gotten so bad that we've decided to switch to a doctor with more dependable staff.

Dr. Engel ran the best pediatric practice here in Ottawa. In Montreal our children always had a pediatrician and we were recommended to Dr. Engel by Dr. Haber in Montreal. Dr. Engel's office never refused to see you if your kids were sick. There were waits in his office waiting room but he always saw everyone. We have total confidence in his competence and hope he's still practising when we have grandchildren!!

Although the reception staff at the family clinic leaves much to be desired, Dr. Engel is an AMAZING pediatrician. We hit the jackpot with this one. My son is 8 years old and Dr. Engel is and has always been so great with him.
